Steve Wraith wasn't so much the issue at The Magpie Group TBF. He kept himself to himself. There were others though who weren't even part who I ended up having show down meetings with following 'that' Gallowgate shots interview.

These seem to be working in tandem with AshleyOut and others like.

The more people who are on board putting out the same message the better is how I see it. There should only be one group though coordinating this. Most on here are probably aware of my fall out with TMG but they'd have been ideal and started off on a good footing. People need to get into the NUST and then there just needs to be 1 other group for this sort of shit and mobilising so to speak.

If nowt else, it's providing some good entertainment on social media for a good month or so...

I assume they're tiny? Not entirely sure in the end mate. Think around 1,100. They'll not be that small actually (I don't think). I mean the names make up a good 20% of the flag I'd say and given the size of it (76x54m), they must be legible on a good photo.

Our lads are back on the ferry now with the flag. GET THE FUCK IN! So proud to be part of this motion like. I've been catching up on comments from the last year or so and can see that not all of our displays are universally liked, which is obviously a bit of a shame but it's unrealistic to expect otherwise. Nonetheless, we require constructive criticism and as a lot of our fan base is contributing to such projects, then we owe it to them to produce displays the majority like. That being said the "Only one United" and painted banners are often funded by the flags group alone. We all chip in a fiver or tenner and produce banners such as that for around £100. Not bad really considering their size. Over time we've grown more confident and capable too, thus reducing the (wo)man hours. There's a massive buzz in our group for this Saturday. The scum are on at 17:30 on Sky, everyone will be on the piss. We're gonna show Liverpool how it's done on and off the pitch! This banner is gonna be fucking immense, I really hope everyone loves it like we do in the group! So glad I'm under it like, otherwise I'd more than likely be crying

The issue is not having an attacking LB as an alternative for games where we are expected to attack. Even so though, having competent wingers who take players on would equally resolve that issue. Instead, we have Richie who never goes past a man (whom I still rate), Kenedy (who on his day is our best winger but his day comes 1 in every 3) then Atsu who is thick as mince and Murphy who lacks quality. They're all top lads, but they are as much the issue as anything. I'm not a fan of this obsession that Left Backs are shut if they cannot attack. Defence is as much a part of the game as attack. This notion that a team attacking is 'the better team' i's occasionally ridiculous. Football is a game of strategy and like chess you can pull your opponent apart many ways. You play to your strengths and exploit your enemies weaknesses. Newcastle is currently at a defensive back 8 strategy because that's our level and that's our strength. I'd rather see us win 1-0 than draw 3-3 despite what those turnips at Sky tell everyone. Rant over

Dummett is a solid left back and one of the best defensive left backs in the league. Fact.

I was always taught, you stand on your near post, arrange your wall and then move to the far post ready for the free kick to be taken. You'd have one man in the wall facing you to organise and he'd move the wall accordingly.

They are the lucky ones. They will be free from it within the next few 1-3 years. We are stuck with Ashley for potentially another 10 years +. I get your sentiment - but they're not so much lucky as they are hard-working and professional. Therefore, I wish for them to achieve the very best they can, even more-so as it's for my club and my community. I think having a negative impact on Ashley's other businesses and actively protesting regardless of result is the way forward here. Not necessarily the demise of NUFC alone.

Aye, I’m the same. Those watching in Rosies weren’t as animated as I thought they would have been for our goals or when we conceded and then lost. I think everyone, even those that go to games, seem resigned. Me I’m hoping everything burns... Benitez and the team make me still as animated. I'm desperate for them not to fail, for their welfare.
