48hours. 3 points off City and Staveley in the bag.

Sooner believe her than Ashley and his cronies. Always remember: "The club admitted to the Tribunal that it repeatedly and intentionally misled the press, public and fans of Newcastle United."

Did someone say Saturday?

I agree. More pro-Rafa for me. Show our support for him and the team until he leaves. That's been my sentiment amongst the group. -
When's the pre-match presser?
-
Can we have some sort of random word generator that replaces takeover with alternatives. That'll at least make things a bit more entertaining...

Are you actually expecting anything? Not really. Just living in hope. Oh. Like me going round telling everyone mila kunis is going to be hanging off mee chopper on the 26th. No evidence, but you live in hope. Aye. Only this requires more hope. It's not cause you're handsome either like. Just cause he's that much of a cunt.

Liverpool beat City, we drew with Liverpool, therefore we too will beat City. -
Everyone in the bottom 11. that was my thoughts exactly

Mitrovic managed 9 in 34. According to Rafalosophy that rate is worth £25m and therefore Premiership quality. Not if 4 goals is worth 5million. Mitrovic would be worth 10. Which is what we paid (I think) Yet... He doesn't get the same window of opportunity that Joselu gets... Rightly or wrongly
-
I agree with this mind.
-
He's got our most assists this season hasn't he? Waste of a shirt is a bit dramatic to say the least. He's not fantastic at this level by any stretch of the imagination but Howay.
-
Aye. That's a fair point like. Booing the team off too is just idiotic. We all get pissed off and frustrated and kick off but to say people are shit or boo them off is just pointless, when they're giving it their all.

This strikes me as just outright hatred as opposed to rational perspective of today's performance Hatred FFS. He's just not very good. He isn't very good. I agree. But to say he was simply "less awful" yesterday is just a bit daft to be honest. He clearly had a half decent game and was equally as productive as any of our other midfielders. I'll concede the point, fair enough. He looked competent enough first half yesterday and better than Shelvey second as well. I would rather see Merino though, simple as that. I agree. Merino is our best CM. He just needs time to be bedded in and adapt. Agree with that as well, I'd probably argue with Rafa (!) that Merino should be getting games against the likes of Swansea now to help him get used to it. Fair enough don't expose him to the horrors of Citeh away etc. Fair point. His quality might have been the difference yesterday. Collectively, I find it frustrating that our CMs are almost always on top of our CBs like. There was a 50 yard gap between MF and up front yesterday at almost all times.
-
I thought yesterday was somewhat of a must win, it has to be said. However, if we'd drawn at Swansea and beat them at home I'd have been happy, so we've just done it in reverse.
-
This I agree with. I've noticed when the ball is on the other side of the pitch in particular, he stands square on facing the ball and the wing back just floats in behind then Yedlin has to use his pace to get across. If Ritchie opened his body up by like 45degrees he could see both and put himself in a better position defensively, instead of ball watching.
-
Aye but Ritchie is a very competent passer of the ball and keeps the ball well. So maybe that's the reason for it... Ball retention. I'd have to see more of Murphy but for me Ritchie is probably still our most competent winger if not outright, one of them at least.
