The lads who sorted it spent around 2 / 3 hours last night and I know around ten of us spent an hour after the game today putting things away. -
Wor Flags: visit worflags.org.uk/donate to support future displays

They should provoke a response from the crowd to create an atmosphere so that 5 minutes should be enough. Evidently not. The fact that people clap in a minutes silence shows the level of intelligence of elements of our support. I agree that it seems a little pointless but if the provokation had the desired response it wouldn't be. Unfortunately everyone expects to win 6-0 every game these days so it didn't. -
Given the nature of this forum I suspect this is sarcastic. Nonetheless we made ourselves look like utter fucking mongs by some dipshits clapping despite being told not to

Are you deliberately being thick? I could pose that same question to you. So are you? You're saying one of the players of the tournament done nothing when it mattered. Well you've already been call out on your horseshit as somebody mentioned his performances in the group stage as a starter. He got a goal and an assist in the Romania match, would have been an embarrassing loss without him, and another goal and assist against Albania which would have been a horrible 0-0 draw without his contributions to the match. All while Mr Sissoko done f*** all. After being called out on your ignorance you had a change of heart and changed your tone to 'ooh he done nothing when it mattered in the knockouts I meant'. Really? Because for starters he scored the third goal against Iceland. You can talk s*** about how it was an easy match and Iceland were awful and blah blah but you cannot tell me a third goal in any given match does not matter not least in a Quarter-Final of a major competition. We all know the cliche about two goal leads being dangerous, and there is some truth in it just look at when Norwich were beating us 1-3 the other month, but the third goal more often than not proves to be the ultimate game killer. Far more times teams coming back from 2 down than 3 down. He also created more chances in the knockouts than any other player on the French team, as well as the tournament as a whole for France. Again you can talk s*** about how none of them lead to assists but that's out of his control. He can't make his teammate put it in the net that's up to them and their ability. Are you going to sit there and tell me that creating chances for your teammates does not matter??? How many chances did Sissoko create for his teammates? Also do you really think the likes of Sir Alex Ferguson, who has far greater football knowledge and player judgement than you me or anyone on this forum, would handpick him for their team of the tournament based on two group games? Do you think they're dumb enough to do that and not look at the tournament as a whole? It just seems to me as if some Newcastle fans feel bad that their club ripped Tottenham off and got a ridiculous fee off them for a s*** player. So they feel like they have to justify the 30m somehow by letting on Sissoko was outstanding and France's great big hero in Euro 2016 when in fact he done nothing of significance in the 4 games he started and 2 games he came off the bench for. He was s***, just not as s*** as he normally was for Newcastle, but still s***.

Mitro should start all day. Don't really know why he wouldn't. To drop him today would be ludicrous but if Rafa believes that's right I will stand corrected Rafas the one

I somewhat disagree. It's a symbol of remembrance. However, the remembrance is for those who have fought and died for our nation which is obviously political. Soldiers don't make wars they fight them. They deserve our respect and laws should be in place to protect them from fighting unjust wars.

I hope we take the deduction. Our freedom gave us the ability to enjoy a simple game of football and enjoy the coming together of nations and cultures for such events. FIFA can get to fuck Edit: If players don't wish to participate they shouldn't have to and nor should they be booed or jeered. We fought for democracy.

he's the opposite of you. Now, now Needy

Rafa is the best. Simply the best. Better than all the rest. Better than anyone.
-
Comfortable 4-0.
-
Different player in different circumstances but generally Gayle. I like Mitro more though
-
Shelvey looking increasingly like Voldemort with those fingers

I actually think it was a good, resolute display first half and our fans were relatively quiet because half of them just expect us to win every game. The atmosphere picked up second half for both sides and that helped our players more than theirs.

He's our best goalkeeper in doing goalkeeper things, like saving shots and commanding his area. Not arsed if he kicks a ball like a 12 year old girl, because he's head and shoulders above the others imo. Don't get this kicking criticism- Because it's something people say when they haven't got a clue about goalkeeping but want to sound enlightened. He's a professional goalkeeper and he often either picks the wrong player to kick it to from distance or he simply aims for someone like Mitro and balls it up. It's the extra part of being a goalkeeper though...He does the important things better than anyone else here. If he kicked better he'd have the potential to be a top class goalkeeper. If anything I think you're trying o make yourself sound more enlightened by the fact you cannot accept people's constructive criticism of a player who is quite universally rated.

Time is money after all... Also fuck Sunderland. What we do is what matters.
-
Both. Both cups and promotion. Why the fuck not? :-)
-
Continuing to play out of his skin in terms of shot stopping and commanding his area. Just wish he had better kicking...

Cannot remember the last time I spoke in person to an opposition fan and they weren't humble tbh, forums are a different animal though. I think every football forum is full of biased cunts. Probably us too aye sunce getting rid Alan, John & Steve. Still, them saying they'd rather have Ben Pearson over Jonjo Shelvey is a bit like us saying we'd rather have Isaac Hayden over Kevin de Bruyne. ...and? (Hayden > De Bruyne )
-
Mind you it's just as delusional or idiotic as this place can be at times. I spoke to a Preston fan today after the game and he couldn't speak highly enough of us as a fan base or as a team. Despite saying his lot deserved something which they arguably did.

Aye I kna. The 2016 years since the world started and 12million minutes got me like.

Was emotional when we all sang for Sir Bob. The moment in itself symbolised what football is and should be about. Rivals coming together for the greater good. A gentlemanly act for the ultimate gent
