  1. thats right for me but my kids are gutted they're not gonna see the likes of pogba, ibra etc in the flesh at SJP this year. Amended. ha ha. exactly what they've been told. they were upset when i told them when a few of our (allegedly) best players were going to get sold. that didnt last long though - they both got their new shirts and one demanded Ritchie, and the other wanted Gayle on their backs. New heroes instantly. Great being a kid. It's better for them to see the wholescale change and see us winning than to see us in the doldrums of the Premier league with a shit manager and getting beat every other week, that's for certain!

Considering Newcastle fans are constantly beaten with the stick of delusion and over-expectancy, it's somewhat hypocritical from the nations media, given that England have won even less and yet every competition we go into we're expected to win it. I suspect Allardyce will have them fired up in the changing room and out on the pitch, so playing down the expectancy in the media might not necessarily be a bad move. The problem is, that will also work to the detriment of his popularity, and he wasn't a popular choice to begin with. It's up to his tactics and the players to make the supposed negativity irrelevant. I cannot believe this bloke is our manager like - nonetheless you have to wish him luck. England are my team, after Newcastle (a long way after), so I want them to do well. It's absolutely catastrophic to think this countries media hounded out Sir Bobby, as did people involved at NUFC. What a fucking joke. No wonder we (NUFC and England) have won fuck all for years after the number of frauds who've been in charge.

He's just an egotistical twat without the credentials to make it remotely acceptable.

I'm sat around waiting for it to start, despite knowing after 5mins I'll be bored shitless and playing Candy Crush or some shit on my phone. Got an accumulator on like. Hibs winning will do nicely for my 1st out of 10.

Grim. Good player but has always been massively overrated by the media.

I just had the same thoughts when I seen him in his England jacket. Ridiculous.
  9. Howay Hibs...set me off on the right foot.

Got us down for a draw tonight. Away to Slovakia with a new manager and it being Allardyce doesn't fill me with confidence.

As for the loan system I think it's important that it's kept but what does need to be controlled is the top clubs and them buying everyone. Cannot be arsed to explain on my phone though

Any boots that aren't black. This. Got myself some nice Pantafolo D'oro's or whatever they are called thinking they were an unknown brand but simply because he boots were virtually all black. Couldn't find any cheap Black boots in shops so had to get them online. Even then they were 40 squids
  13. Perez is a better 'footballer' than Sissoko as was Townsend and actually Shelvey is. There's probably more. None of which are as effective footballers though or in our team at least. Sissoko is valuable because of his athleticism nothing else.
  14. Apparently Gouffran had as many goals in about 50 less games and only 15 less assists. Interesting #Giggs
  15. Imagine if he does his hamstring or some shit for France in the next week
  16. We'll beat Spurs at St James in the EFL Cup quarter final man. Happy days
  17. I like this fence. Can I sit on it too? I'll be pedantic like. He's an effective player not a good one haha!
  18. Now now folks. Our squad has been rebuilt for purpose and that purpose and target is to gain promotion to the Premier League whilst maintaining the high level of fan interest within the club to keep the club's finances e tremely healthy. I fucking hate Ashley but he, Charnley and obviously Mr Benitez have had an outstanding summer and actually all of the above will have arsed on seats, positive fan movements (Gallowgate flags) and nothing but positivity within the ranks. We could go back to the Premiership super healthy and capable of developing a real strong outfit. I don't trust Ashley to not be a cunt again but fuck me...about 10 of the last 16 years have been mediocre to shit so am I fuck gonna whinge about missing "quality" individuals when we have a squad fit for purpose. Have faith in Rafa and just enjoy it man...
  19. I'm happy. I feel as though there's only one cunt that we finally need rid of but whilst footballing matters are being addressed he can probably take a back seat. Players who want to play for us and a club seemingly pulling in the same direction. Just enjoy it for a month lads before Ashley burns everything to the ground again
  20. He certainly far from the biggest game changer, or a game changer at all considering he hasn't done that once for us. I'm sorry like but that's bull. Of the players we have left he is the one who you could put him in against any other side and he could give them a game (if he turned up). I'm of the opinion that lots of fans only see what they want to see because they decide whether they like players or managers and that's wrong. You have to see each game for what it is and each attribute for what it is. That's not to say you cannot claim someone is s*** or out their depth, for example Colback for me is out his depth in CM and his constant mediocre to poor performances support that. Sissoko played excellent at the back end of last season when he wanted to be in a shop window, wanted to play for France and was made captain. I cannot stand the t*** but I have to give him credit where it's due. He's a quality athlete with average to good footballing ability and that's what makes him a relative success on his day or when he chooses. Because of his physical attributes he can be unplayable at times. The problem he has is that he's an egotistical prick, who's probably been sold a lie by Ashley and Co. Until Rafa arrived and now his agent wants his next pay day and Moussa is being fed the now or never s*** to make him wanna jump ship. Moussa has proven he can play at a high level but he simply hasn't done it consistantly enough. Hence the lack of bids. Your talking about him as if he has been brilliant for us and had a major positive impact. We've been involved at the wrong end of the table every season he's been here, and obviously he isn't solely responsible, but you can count the number of good games on one hand. Other than being strong and running fast, he has done nothing to suggest he can play at the highest level. No. He has probably had two hands worth of good games to be fair to him. He's torn apart premier league sides on those occasions and he had a good tournament in France. As I previously said on numerous occasions - he's half decent when he chooses, he's too inconsistent and he's a prick. All I'm saying is there has to be some balance in the discussion and not a blind / stubborn view that he is, has been and always will be s***...which is just ridiculous. Nevertheless, he's probably gonna f*** off to Everton. The useless, spineless inept c***. Worth a soggy pack of space raiders
