The club may suffer for a long time but quite honestly I'm so disillusioned with footy at the moment I couldn't care less. What's the point in being in the premier league anyway? Unless you're owned by a billionaire who is going to splash the cash the chances of getting even a champion league place are virtually nil. Everyone else just picks up the pieces and prays for a cup upset, not the existence I could tolerate for much longer. If you go down at least you could have a club for the fans once he's left. A team that cares and the ups and downs that go with it, not knowing what the season will bring and meeting some decent clubs and people along the way. Look at FC Manchester for example, that's what I could get behind - a club run be fans for everyone.

I'm a bit disappointed with the in the ground 34th minute stuff. It's just giving those fannies who were wavering before an excuse to go in. "I stood up in the 34th minute and did my part". Fuck that. They need to be as militant as they wer last week and keep pushing on with that.

Trouble is if they do walk we'll just end up with a poorer manager who will happily accept the conditions. (Like the Keegan situation) Would love every manager to say f*** off to Ashley perhaps making him reconsider his conditions. But unfortunately there's always someone like Carver who will take whatever is thrown at them just so it keeps them in a job. A poorer manager will get us relegated, which Ashley doesn't want either. Something would have to give. I just don't want another Pardew, happy to lick his arse in public and willing to keep us in the league every year offering the square root of f*** all in terms of hope and progression. To be fair, after all that's gone on, I don't think a new manager could complain about being told to finish 7-17. Surely they would be aware of this before taking the job.
