my worry is that hughton is so clueless will probably play mith nolan and butt. whereas smith is the only one there who should play. I would like to see guthrie and smith in centre mid with lualua or xisco up front

nolan hasnt exactly got the footballing pedigree to be an attacking midfield. SLow with limited technique, i would play lualua there. I expect either a 2-2 draw or 3-1 loss, cant see us winning with smith and nolan playing and when we are losing, which is inevitable at some point, ameobi coming on to squander the usual 2 or 3 open goals.

amazing listening to his talk on bbc. 'when i left, we were in good form, playing well' 3 draws, 3 losses. The guy is a fool. When he took over we were 5 points off midtable, when he left us we were 4 off and 1 point above relegation. With the squad we had he should of steered us clear, especially as many of the games were those you mark down as should win. As a result, in the games that were left we had to face all the top 4, with the easier teams, being played away.
