On current form he is easily one of the worst CB's in the league.

Man of the match by a distance today I thought.

Was still thinking about going to this one, but after today I think I will take it easy in front of the tv. -
Was thinking the same. It isn't right.

Just that there are plenty of times when people collapse and pull through because of the efforts of the medical staff and that we should be focussing on that rather than being morbid essentially.

Well said John Barnes
-
It is strange how they are analysing it as if it was a contentious incident.

Exactly, if he is going to come out with petulant comments like that then he shouldn't be allowed on there.

Wouldn't mind him getting a go, but didn't think he particularly stood out in the reserve game against Sunderland last week.

Not a fan of his slightly negative vibe this week. We are playing Norwich at home. Even with Tiote out we have enough to win this game. He has got to stop banging out about people working harder, its getting boring. The onus is now on him to pick the right team to win the game. If he doesn't start with Cisse and Ba up top, with Ben Arfa also in the side, then he has no one to blame but himself if we don't pick up a result. He needs to start learning from his mistakes. I have no problem with the line-up he picked on Monday night. He clearly had Spurs away in mind and we very nearly picked up a point. However, he needs to look at the last two home games and realise that Ben Arfa should have started in both. It is pretty simple really.

Prefer Perch to Simpson. There is this myth that Simpson has a good attitude. He should try concentrating less on pumping his fists in the fans direction and more on actually being a footballer. He clearly thinks he is a much better footballer than he actually is and refuses to make learn from his mistakes and develop his game. Then he wonders why he gets criticised and gets all defensive about it, referring to those fans who criticise him as not being 'real fans'. Well guess what Danny, it costs £100+ to make a trip to London to watch a match. If you will take a shit throw in and then lie down on the floor with cramp, which then leads to us losing the match in the 95th minute, then you are going to be criticised. I have no idea what people actually were writing to him as I don't use twitter and there was almost certainly some uncalled for personal abuse in there, but as a premier league footballer you should know what you are getting yourself in for. There are plenty of morons out there. It's no good crying just because of a few insults - that isn't how life works. In summary - Simpson is my least favourite current NUFC player by a distance (overtaking Raylor)

First time ever I have found myself wanting Man U to get back into a game. Had been looking forward to this week's football and so far it hasn't disappointed.

Was going to download the update. Might not bother if this is the case.

Hatem is the only reason that I am looking forward to the game this weekend.

Sell him

Would honestly have had Gosling in there rather than Obertan. He could keep it simple and give it to Ben Arfa, Cabaye, Jonas etc when he gets the ball, but more importantly when we weren't in possession he could have been hassling the Arsenal midfield and trying to break up their play.

Seen his yesterday. Funny seeing how high Hasselbaink is, ahead of Drogba. Imagine Shola's line on that graph! It's not all that bad given his mediocre appearance number. http://i.imgur.com/UvBGx.png *its not exact... Hate to be pedantic (or do i?!), but Shola only has 40 in the premier league in close to 240 games, so it is not quite as steep as that in reality.

He has pretty much only looked good this season when playing the last 20. People should not forget the woeful displays he put in against Fulham, QPR, Blackburn and Brighton when Demba was away.

Arsenal away is not a game where Hatem is going to tear it up. He always has that moment of quality in him and he came good for us tonight in that respect. The other stuff doesn't matter so much as without Hatem tonight it is unlikely that we would have got a goal. He now has to step up on Sunday. It's against teams like Norwich, no disrespect to them, at home that he should be the main man. Just look what he did to Richardson in that second half. If he can start doing that on a regular basis then we have some player on our hands.
