Only twice this season have we played as well as we did very frequently last year. If we start playing for the rest of the season as well as we did last year - and it really could happen - then God knows what we could do. Liverpool are top of the league, and have looked absolutely average most of the season. id love to see villa put in a genuine title challage, like you say Liverpool are top without being out of this world and Villa are up there without playing to the standard they can week in week out, anythings possible this season..

to be fair, we have created chances and scored lots of goals in Kinnears time so it hasnt effected the team too much

If he had scored he could have lived off that goal for about 2 seasons - Riise factor style.

exactly we looked at our worst when coming out for 2nd halfs 2-0 up V Stoke and WBA and sitting deep,wasting time and just trying to hold on for the points, both those games should have been 3 or 4 nil wins based on the 1st halfs

Thats our strongest team without Barton, we will go 3-0 up at half time then kinnear will move everyone one position to the right for the 2nd half and we will lose 5-3

i dont think he is, Riise was awfull in the last few seasons for Liverpool, people seem to rate Riise off the back of the wonder goals he scored years ago

i really dont understand why Kinnear seems to have to take either of the strikers off. Martins has to stay on the pitch even if it means moving him out wide and taking Jonas or N'Zognia off if he really has to bring Viduka on

Bassong was quality but i think whats more importent him and colo have a very good understanding and cover for each other very well, as said even though Enrique was poor you have to stick with the same back 4 again next week.
