we could be alot worse off, we all saw what Houghton did, followed by crap like Venables,Hoddle and Francis turning us down, we are scoring goals, never beat by more than the odd goal and ive seen us play alot worse fooball under Souness,Roeder and Fat Sam Not saying i'm happy with the setup, but the state the clubs in behind the scenes it could be a whole lot worse.

There was a story in the papers a few weeks back about robinho quing for 25mins to get a store card to save 50% on his £300 quids worth of clothes shopping - seem to be obsessed with rich footballers doing normal things.
-
we have been turned down by the likes of Glenn Hoddle and Terry Venables we are in no position to say no to someone like Avram Grant.
-
away teams(other than Hull) only bringing 600-1000 fans dont help either, but still we are about 3000 home fans down per game.

Barton Incident With Agbonlahor? Was it f*** say the FA. Was it f*** say Villa.

So what would the media have to say if Barton had threw a coin into the crowed drogba style? I am sure Drogba will get punished, but very little is going to be made of it. -
come on, the ball was barely moving might have got it, he had time to look and the ref and linesman and claim a handball then turn round to see the ball wasnt even over the line yet.
-
1-0 Chelsea - Anelka, if Robinson hadn't stood claiming the handball he could have just about got the ball before it went over the line
-
fair play to him, hes cost sunderland millions and give them very little for there money!!

so fans are paying for tickets and not turning up?...unless its a big game?

for me hes never done anything wrong on the pitch in the public eye, well no more than your normal midfielder, would understand the media outcry if he had raised his hand(if you can even call it that) in the street. that said hes put himself in this position so really shouldnt give anyone a excuse to blow small things up, Glad agbonlahor took it for what it was and didnt drop to the ground like he had been shot like alot of players might have done -
Dont know if its been said but liked the way all the outfield players celebrated the goals together, there does not seem to be any cliques in the group, all in it together!

Did well last night, still think that kind of performance is what should be expected of him minimum every game.
-
Great result, just hope we can build on it over the next 3 games before the inevitable defeat at chelsea, back to back wins 1 defeat in 5 games and scoring goals...without having to rely on Owen.
-
we are at least scoring goals so we should manage a draw, a win would be great as gives us the fulham and wigan games to pull ourself clear, we may be bottom but the table is so tight so a win would put us within a point of the likes of man city 1-1 with them scoring late!
-
spurs were never going down, ontop of that we have won our last game and earned 2 good draws before the sunderland game, scoring in every game we are involved in, we are hardly in the mess some people are making out, and 4 points from the top half of the table.
-
Disagree about that. Especially Bolton. We deserved to draw the West Brom match. Worth a win in the first half, as they were in the second. if we didnt deserve to win those two games, we prob deserved to win at man utd and everton, 2nd half v blackburn we deserved draw.

Stoke 1-0 Arsenal - another long through assist!

Funny how when we sacked him, the media said we were stupid to sack such a good manager, since then the likes of Paul Ince and Tony Adams have been given jobs ahead of him.
