  1. I urge anyone who can make it to lay something down at SJP in tribute, or if you can't (like me), to donate any amount of money to the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation. The memory must live on.
  2. I feel like a member of my family's died. A great manager and a great man. RIP Sir Bobby.
  3. even if there is such a person that exist, what makes you think he would wanna buy us? cos I'm stupid?
  4. I haven't been on for a while, have we found out if he exists?
  5. I think they look good, show you have a sense of humour.
  6. it reminds me of ARAB C. Nesbitt episode with a fake Iranian billionaire.
  7. I knew it was a hoax all along.

oh are the u19s playing today?
  10. but Ali Daei was really good.
  11. damn, it's grown on me
  12. would the fact he doesn't exist really be such a stumbling block anyway?
  13. yeah it was like he stopped caring after he left us.
  14. loads of people say the main thing the club needs is stability, appointing Keegan would be a massive contradiction. If he doesn't do a runner this time that's always going to be in the back of people's minds due to his reputation. I'd rather we appointed someone like Lee Clark.
  15. I bow to your superior judgement, oh great one.
  16. can't believe that many people still want Keegan. If we appointed him as manager for a third time, the club would look like one of those women on Jeremy Kyle who keep taking their ex back despite him treating her like crap. "This time it WILL be different, because Keegan loves me." It's time to let go!
  17. Indeed. He has no ability on the ball whatsoever. One good header against Stoke and people start becoming very forgetful. This. Great finish against West Ham too, and as I said bullied Hangeland in the air which very few players did all season. He's not great but he's got attributes that could benefit us if he's used properly. also he's only 20! I'm not saying he's going to be legendary but he's by no means the finished product.
  18. it would have been brilliant to have had Beye when he was in his prime.
  19. good. We chose a good year to go down.
  20. I know he has his flaws but I'll be sorry to see him go. He did provide some thrilling moments, mainly in 06/07 and I do think he genuinely loved the fans. However 9m is a lot of money considering the state we're in and he'll be playing in the Champions League again. It's a good deal for both us and him.
  21. The weirdest thing about it is how it really wasn't that long ago. Aye mate, Newcastle V Leeds, around christmas time, maybe a bit of snow, and usually a mag victory. I miss those days. What a game. Top at christmas. I'm not sure if I only think this because it's a time when we were actually good, but the Premier League was so much better back then.
  22. he seems to be one of the few players who have looked bothered in pre-season.
  23. Was also semi-regular at Nac Breda was he not? well at least he'll always have that to tell the grandchildren.
