I think it's more to do with the man himself, rather than how good our fans are. Afterall there's memorabilia from loads of different clubs at the shrine, not just ours, such was Sir Bobby's widespread popularity. there was an SBR tribute programme here in east anglia focussing on his Ipswich reign, I'm guessing the north east one was his time at the Toon?

Not entirely sure we can get the SBRF on the shirts, there is an issue of exclusitivity, so unless we get a Randy Lerner or a Barca it is unlikely that will happen. I'm fully behind the academy though. I'm sure I've seen Championship teams with > 1 sponsor. Just under the players name would look class imo. he had a massive impact everywhere he went and was such a larger than life character. I'm still finding his death hard to come to terms with, never in a million years did I think it would hit me this hard.
