  1. I'd take a draw here. Beye should be back for this one so we will have even more of a threat going down the right than we did on Sunday with Taylor. Big decision for JK is whether to go with Bassong or Enrique at left back, we definately looked alot more solid with Bassong there on Sunday, and I still don't think Enrique looked 100%. I agree with the general sentiment expressed that we need to get at themearly give N'zogbia and Duff free reign in the Midfield and we can cause them problems going forward and maybe get the win.
  2. I know what you mean, it's not even with long range now. It's any free kick, I sigh and think who do we have that could just hit it here and have a realistic chance of going in. When we had Robert and Shearer every time we got a free kick you though we could score.

    The Next 2 Months

He didn't look injured, not that I'm a physio or anything. We looked alot more solid when Bassong came on for him though. Left Back is a desperate need in January.
  4. Very good performance today, especially second half. Don't think either team deserved to lose Everton had chances to win and we would have won if Ameobi could put the ball in the back of the net. Pity I was sat with the Everton fans, but I couldn't hide the smile on my face when we equalized and for a while I thought that we were going to go on and win. Given was solid, Taylor was MOM for me Coloccini and Cacapa were both a bit shaky, Enrique isn't match ready yet for my money. Bassong was our best defender when he came on. Butt struggled, Guthrie was alot better second half and I thought that N'Zogbia, Duff and Geremi all had great games. Ameobi just needs to learn how to finish Owen had a quiet day to be honest.

    Joe Kinnear

It's clear this man isn't going to take any shit. He'll put some fire in the team, lets get behind him.
  6. Hope we can pull out a win in this one, mainly because I'm going even if I am stuck with the Everton fans. Wouldn't care about that though if we won though, a few of my room mates are Everton fans, would love to be able to give a bit of stick for once.
  7. Having trouble with the online system thing, when I click on Away games no games show up at all. Would like to get a ticket for this as I'm currently at uni in Liverpool, and would rather not be in the Everton end.
  8. No England manager has got further in a major tournament since Venables.
  9. It's an overrated group, we should have every team in it for breakfast. Tonight was just the difference between McLaren's England and Capello's England.
  10. It'll be Wise and Poyet, can't really think who else would even take the job. Ashley himself might as well do it.
  11. Hope he does stay like, spuniked 50 quid on away shirt with his name on a few week back.
  12. fuck off then, no fan stops supporting a club because of change of manager that's pathetic.
  13. On what? The transfer, or the guy as a player?
  14. I didn't want him to be sold, as I rate him unlike many on here. However if it's for over £10m then it's good business, we just desperately need some players in before the deadline.
  15. Not really, all pace no end product.
  16. Can't blame Given for that last night, blame him for his positioning on the second goal. The first goal was clearly the fault of Butt following the ball, instead of sticking to his man.
  17. Don't know why everyone thinks SWP would be any better, gets to the byline then skies a cross into the crowd, same goes for Lennon both hugely overrated.
  18. Most likely rubbish. Milner is better than SWP and Lennon so I would want more than £8m anyway.

    Jose Enrique

I'd say same back four as tonight taking out Bassong and another new centre back to pair with Coloccini, still not 100% convinced by Taylor, Bassong already looks at a similar level to Taylor and he's only been here a few months.
  20. Yeah, it was a pretty big foot to put wrong. However to say he's had no pre-season that was far from a bad performance from a defensive perspective. Strong in the air and wins most of the tackles he goes in to.
