The thing is with Harper, he's pretty much always been Premiership quality since about 1999/2000. Just people always compared him to Given, and whilst Harper isn't as good as shot-stopper (which seems to be the only criteria for a good goalkeeper according to some people) he's far better on crosses and commanding his box, and his kicking/distribution is arguably better. He's still a decent shot-stopper anyway, but always came under fire because he never seemed to make many "heroic" saves like Given did. I agree with Ronaldo in that he's still good enough for the Premiership right now. He's a good solid keeper.

Seems to be doing some job at Aldershot. His name sounds pretty shit and boring, so I assumed it was a bad appointment. Let it be known I had no idea where he had worked, whether he was currently in work or not, what he looked like or his management style.

I remember reading about a Brazilian keeper in FourFourTwo who took all his teams penalties and freekicks, he had about 45 goals in his 15 year career at this one club.

Glen Johnson only works when there's a tireless, diligent winger in front of him (Kuyt, anyone?). Essentially, he should be a right winger, I've seen better defending at full back at some of the N-O matches.
