I think O'Neill does a great job of convincing his chairman to go and pay for who he wants, it's just a shame for him that other clubs think "Haha, it's that fucking Irish tit" and steal as much of his transfer pot as they can for whichever mediocre clogger it is he's after.

He's about as short-term a manager as I think there is in the league. Playing the same 11 every week win lose or draw is probably why by March his teams tend to lose every game that's left, and yet he never realises that.

I remember predicting he'd go for either K.Davies, Doyle, Fletcher, Heskey or Agbonlahor and as far as I know they've all been linked and he's bidding £12m for one of them You don't even need to be a fan of a team he's managed before, he's just that predictable.

It depends how they price the home leg. If they say £15 adults, £10 concessions/students and £5 kids then they'd probably get 35,000+. What will happen though is they'll make it expensive and probably get about 23,000.

The PFA and FA can say whatever they want, nothing will actually change unless we have a mental period of loads of cards for twattish referee surrounding and so on. Mind you, I'd hate for it to get to a stage where players merely appealing "our ball!" and putting their hand up on a throw-in get booked or whatever, like in rugby.
