He's been laid back and had that languid style of play since he first came onto the scene though really. I can't remember many times other than his first 9 or 10 games when he actually busted a gut and looked like he was trying. I think his main problem is that he's a good finisher but he's utterly fucking shit at everything else, a bit like the twat who nets 13 goals when you play at the park despite having no ability other than a good shot. As for why he's at the club, it's because no-one is mental enough to buy him other than Ipswich the other year where he failed his medical.

Utaka is shite and I'd not take him even for £1m. Keane and Boyata on loan would be dreamland and would hopefully mean selling Best or loaning out Ranger.

If anything, I'm hoping the old habits from last season of grinding out draws and 1-0 wins even when playing poorly may die hard. They were irritating as fuck last year, but if we can carry that on this season then it'll be very useful indeed.

No way is it in our interests to drop Nolan for a new signing after he's bagged 2 goals in a match. This team spirit and dressing room togetherness that everyone keeps saying is so important could crumble if that happens.
