No one is saying that. He never said 'probably' at all his exact words were "It WAS a stupid tackle AND he deserved to be sent off. From the moment he uttered those words there was no chance of getting this decision appealed, none whatsoever. That's what you aren't getting. The rest of your posts discusses events after this interview so its pointless addressing them. So your issue is that basically you didn't think it was a red card? Well I did. Even if the decision was debatable there was no chance on earth of it being rescinded. Absolutely no chance whatsoever, and it's clear that Shearer knew this. What about the argument they had in front of the rest of the players? Is it pointless addressing that? The argument they had in front of the players AFTER that interview Dave? When Shearer remembered he wasn't still a pundit on MOTD? TBH I wouldn't like to comment on it but Shearer is obviously unhappy with Barton in the post match interview and I don't know if Barton saw him give his comments live on TV. Everything else would be speculation but to be publicly condemned and hung out to dry by your own manager would not have helped the situation. To repeat Fredbobs comments - when does Fergie ever act like this? As for the decision I see its now 'absolutely no chance whatsoever' of it being rescinded whereas before shearer said it was 'probably' deserved. Hmmmmmmmmmm All I'll say is if we bothered to appeal Bassong's red we really should have had the chance to appeal Barton's. Only there was no chance of that after that interview was there? perhaps shearer was just irate that barton has not only undergerformed in his time here but has behaved on the pitch like a complete t*** too many times ? Perhaps an irate manager was not what we needed. fairly sure i've even heard wenger and mourinho be honest on a couple with some sendings off. if we had a manager like ferguson who lied through his teeth all the time (as opposed to wengeres most the time) i'd have little respect for him. i really don't thing man utd would be anyworse a team if ferguson was honest if one of his players got sent off.....do you ? your right, but its fergies disagree-able, fighting scotsman personality that gives him his drive and hunger.you cant pick and choose the best bits.

Elvis Moody blues when monday comes , its tuesday, when tuesday comes , its wednesday, through another day again, your meetings unwind, just like a ball of twine, on a spool that never ends.

why is this thread still going, its obviously about ownership, not contract talks. if he is selling, he wont appoint a manager.

Its never going to change, the stadium is smack bang in the middle of the city, people walk past it everyday, infact I do now. If something major happens and I'm on my way to work I bet I would get stopped by SNN. The people taking the piss also fail to notice that most of the kids bouncing outside dont appear to be at work where most NUFC fans would be. There was a guy talking about NUFC in an office a little while back, i overheard the shit he was coming out with "its the fans, the push the club in the wrong direction" WTF how? Did we actually ask Ashley to do this to us, did we fuck. People watch SNN and assume aall newcastle fans are 18 years old bounc up n down and shout "shearer shearer". And the pundits "newcastle fans would rather lose 4-3 then win 1-0" wtf ??!?!?!?!? well now, it would give him plenty to mong on about, when they see you in that gimp mask. edit, seriously, the biggest mongs are actually the reporters,.... mong encouragers.

can i stand in for him, don't know, can you ? what do you think of a manager who won,,erm, erm, i cant remember,... evidently not don't know about that. you answered my simple straight forward question with a reply that had nothing to do with what i asked. so what about freddy then madarse. hey im doing ok. except mandiarse was his name for ozzymandias. shows how much attention i payed, actually tbh, i knew that, i was simply making reference to his way of changing names, fair play tho, he was right all along. perhaps his avoiding the issue skills has seen him looking at a career in politics?

Aye, Im always free on sunday mornigs ok then, we will get this sorted after the next 11 a side, i think, 6/7 a side will be best bet. fancy trying the parks, north shields. Aye, parks is good for me or marden. Are we entering a league or just a kickabout, I'd prefer a league tbh but fine with either. for me i was looking for a kickabout, once a month on a sunday morning. sunday eve, hard to do, and i doubt a league would play only once a month, just an idea like. it can be quite competative tho, if we stick to the reds, vs blues theme.
