You made a decision on where you're studying next year yet? Indeed, Ash. Hoping to be in Newcastle College next year on Keith's football coaching course. Fingers crossed! And cheers, Guv! Good man. Have you looked at anywhere to live?

Fairly sure someone on here (HTT?) said he was finished a couple of months ago.

He's too inefficient. Often his runs ends up in nothing: eg he has to backtrack or he hits a crosser that's no good. . He's had a couple of good crossers that our attackers should have converted but overall he's never involved in our goals.. If you bother you can check his assist ratio, I think it's very low. Do you watch our games, or just look at the stats? Seems that way. It isn't his fault if our strikers don't take the chances he provides for them.

Newcastle United vs. Manchester United (19/4/11 at 7.45pm) Pre-Match Thread

Not even remotely comparable. Why is it not comparable? Because we worship our national team while you lot seem to make a point of hating it with a passion, and you're talking about a bunch of English players playing in an English league while I'm talking about the first Korean to play in the Premiership and only the second to have played a significant role at a top European club for any reasonable period of time? All of which should become irrelevant when he's playing for the side that your team will be up against. As an aside about the national team, I actively support them, I don't hate them. -
No thanks. He's been on a steady decline for a while now in my opinion.

Obviously Rooney, Carrick and Ferdinand will score just to drive me insane with conflicting emotions. -
Sorry, but that is absolute bullshit.

You have a blog, we get it.

Something that has worked very well for us all season thank you very much. No it hasn't. We've scored the fifth most goals in the league despite only passing the ball sideways and backwards. seems like people still think football is played like FIFA. And we've also struggled in numerous games due to not having somebody in the midfield who can open up a defence. Nah we've strugled because our strikers haven't been good enough, or because of defensive mistakes, or injuries/suspensions or because our better players have just had an off day. It is those issues which mean that we are 'only' midtable. The only space for a creative player at the club is left wing or up front. Ben Arfa should get one of those and that will be enough. My concern is that if he doesn't play a perfect through ball every match (this won't happen) people will still be saying we aren't creative enough and want to rip out even more of a very good team. Aye, ok, it's because of those reasons and nothing to do with a lack of creativity.

Were they Ashley? This is the same Fabio Capello that took Shaun Wright-Phillips to the World Cup as well as recently selecting Jay Bothroyd and Kevin Davies. Fabio knows best though, eh Ashley? Fucking moron.

An well trusted source of information. The same one that said Adam Johnston was going to sign? Aye, that's who they're renaming Shearer's after.

It would be superb if we could. Throw Barton and Tiote into that little group too and it's pretty impressive.

Really hope Shefki bags himself a goal (preferably at SJP) before the end of the season. On every picture I've seen of him, he looks a thoroughly likeable character and it seems as though he's played his part in keeping the morale high amongst 'this group of lads'.

"Frankly, Ousmane is a little pussy."

Eh? It's only 1-0 ffs.

He certainly didn't read the papers after scoring that goal against Man City some time back http://cache1.asset-cache.net/xc/90999533.jpg?v=1&c=NewsMaker&k=2&d=77BFBA49EF878921CC759DF4EBAC47D0F384740CAF1A6DBE064A6E8253CF4FD65F8042750CB31464 It's only the Racing Post to be fair to him; wouldn't really class that as a newspaper as such. Don't know where the picture is gone that I've posted in that post but the Manchester derby was clearly the big headline in it. On the post I quoted there's a pic on it and it is about the Manchester derby but the headline reads "Owen's late strike piles more misery on layers" because it's Racing Post.
