True. DVDs aren't quite the same thing but I really loved Bobby's team. At their best, they was breathtaking to watch.
Fitting in with this thread, I guess it was because I really love proper #9s, proper wingers and the big man-little man dynamic. Both teams had that.
Controversial, but I reckon the Sir Bobby team was better than Keegan's Entertainers, despite not getting as close to the title. I certainly loved watching them more - players like Shearer, Bellamy, Solano, Robert & Dyer were phenomenal. Speed too.
I had that thought too Maybe it's a compromise for our situation - he keeps his mate in a job but shifts him up to Scotland and the eventual possibility of Champions League football.
In a H2H league I'm 8 wins from 8, facing the bottom side - a guy who hasn't changed his side since the start. Easy?
I'm probably going to lose thanks to clean sheets. None of his subs have played and he started Costa, Sturridge, Riviere, Tiote and Quinn (who didnt play). Fucking hell.
Three heavy defeats coming up and we're back to where we were
At least we got the points today - as much as I despise Pardew, I really dont want to be relegated. A defeat today would've confirmed it.
