  1. Its a mixed bag for me. Would've preferred a winnable first match and a nice run-in, however the run-in is half-impossible, half-winnable. Lets hope we're safe before those. The big shocker (in a nice way) is Boxing Day, and theres not a lot you can say about the rest. Lets rape the Premiership (Souness and Pardew style!)
  2. South Africa, mate. They're playing South Africa. Wow, I'm in trouble
  3. Are Uruguay playing Gary Barlow? Maybe I'm going deaf.
  4. A GOAL FROM OUTSIDE THE BOX!!!!!!!!!!!!! We've waited far too long
  5. Chile are dangerous though, could see it being a high scoring game if this WC wasn't so fucking impotent goal-wise. They're dangerous from an attacking sense, but they look vulnerable at the back, which plays into Spain's hands. Exciting game for the neutral though.
  6. I still think Spain can win because neither Chile or Honduras are capable of playing like Switzerland did, so theres two wins. Then they'll play teams like Brazil, Ivory Coast, Argentina etc. who also can't sit back like the Swiss. Against open sides, Spain will beat anybody.
  7. Lets count how many bets Switzerland have ruined: 1) Chile/Spain double today 2) Spain to finish on 9 points 3) Spain/Argentina/England/Holland/Italy to win their groups Awesome. Thanks for that, you neutral twats!
  8. i hate switzerland. from now on, i boycoutt nestle, lindt chocloate, swiss rolls, rolex watches and swiss army knives. from the bottom of my heart, i hate you not only do i have a soft spot for spain, but theyve destroyed the world cup by giving us brazil-spain too early (maybe). absolutely gutted. KSH is a sad panda tonight
  9. When Ronaldo first went to Man United he was exciting, energetic and skillful, but had a disappointing end product. I see that in Sanchez. edit: nice one disco!
  10. Mesmerising by Sanchez.....again
  11. Forgot to mention, I've spent my last 50p on a Chile/Spain double. Not very challenging, but it raises me up to £1 Building blocks
  12. Interviewer: "You undecided about Centre-Backs?" Capello: "No......Yes" That ITV song is firmly stuck in my head an' all
  13. Much better I love Chile even more now, spitting in the face of negative football. When they get Suazo back, they should have a better end product. Well done Chile

    ITV

Ah you see I kinda like Chiles. Normally hate ITV's coverage but with Chiles, Southgate, Vieira and Desailly on board it seemed better and more laid back. But maybe thats just me Still angry with the Gerrard blunder though
  15. Really enjoyed tonights game, but I'm surprised everyone thinks Brazil played badly. Considering the opposition 'parked the bus' I really enjoyed their play. But Korea's goal will be one of this tournament's great memories, honestly who didn't smile when that went in? With this match and the Spain/Chile matches tomorrow, hopefully the WC is now properly underway. Jong Tae-Se I was in hysterics when he cried, but we could do with that passion tbh. Were you watching, Hughton? He has a wonderful attitude
  16. So wheres been canny so far? Thinking of watching in town on Friday night. Sounds like we should stay away from Centre for Life.....
  17. What a shit World Cup. Injury time and they attempt short corners? Fuck off man.
  18. Only been 7 first half goals in nearly 13 games so far.
  19. Gervinho's real name is Gervais Yao Kouassi, so I hope to see 'the dance' if he scores!
  20. So we'll never see the Earle & Davids punditry team again? Awww, gutted.....
  21. I'd be upset if he did, but having said that, I don't think he'd be a success over here.
  22. Well theres that group sorted out. Bye bye Slovakia.
  23. Getting pumped up for Cote d'Ivoire vs Portugal. C'MON IVORY!!!!!!!!
