All players for sale except parker, and sacking their manager is hardly sorting themselves out? The same squad that nearly got them relegated. The majority of their squad will probably stay, but with improvements on those that go. And with a decent new manager.

Theres one relegation rival sorting themselves out. Never ever rated Zola (as a manager).

I skimmed through the list, and I misread and thought he had called up Jímenez from Getafe. Ahhhhh ok. The Getafe one in the Spain squad would be hilarious haha. It tells you everything about Spain when Valdes doesn't normally get in the squad and Fabregas is a substitute What a team!

The top teams all need major strengthening and theres been a trend lately to look at home, rather than abroad (Anelka and Valencia are two successes). If this continues, then teams like Wigan, West Ham etc will lose any quality they might still have. So that could be good news.

This is how I see it too. Instead of "Chris, heres £15m to spend", it will be "Chris, we won't put limits on money, buy who you think needs buying. Don't go overboard though".
