andy carroll gets closer to the squad

Didn't talksport say Rafa quit last summer? They're building quite a reputation.

For those that want to relive Enrique's goal and celebration, type in "enrique goal" on dailymotion

Its often the team with momentum that goes up, but at the moment 3rd - 6th seems settled. I reckon it'll be Forest vs Swansea and Cardiff vs Leicester with the winner of the first match going up. Might go with Swansea because of their good defence (despite Blackpool!!). Can't imagine any of them going up though, so it'll feel weird. None of them are good enough at all to stay up, currently.

I won't be cheering on Peterborough or Forest......but if it was still up for grabs on Monday, that'd be convenient

its done. its david dunn, its richard dunne, its duncan ferguson. completely done.

Scharner and Kris Boyd are freebies too.

I thought Jose's goal may be the best moment of the season. But then I remembered the Barnsley match, Shola's hattrick, the server crash when Ranger scored, demolishing Ipswich and Cardiff, Lovenkrands scoring after his dad died, the comeback against Bristol City and of course the Spiderman mask. What a fantastic season its been and theres been some memories I'll cherish forever. Obviously its great to get out of this division, but just when being a Toon fan became a chore, this season has reinvigorated my love for this club. We'll all look back at this year with some very fond memories. I've really loved this season

FUUUUCKKKINNNNNNNNNGGGGG YESSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!! We're Newcastle and we're gonna win the league We're gonna win the league We're gonna win the league We're Newcastle and we're gonna win the league We're gonna win the league We're gonna win the league Didn't think we played particularly well but who cares? Somehow, Shola managed to do good stuff. And Jose scoring was the icing on the cake with a cherry on top.....a perfect perfect end. I want his babies. Right now! Fair play to Billy Davies as well, the wee Scottish bulldog said some lovely things about us at the end. :celb: :celb:

If they were top and we were 3rd, they'd be all "Nice club, lovely city. Great fans. Would love them to be back where they belong". Its just the fickleness of football fans tbh Regardless, lets stuff 'em -

i dont see why this matters? if we play our normal game at home, it doesnt matter if their lives depend on it, we'll still win. They were the last team in England to lose an away game this season, so up until a point they were very capable. With the right management, they can rediscover that form. -

I'm canny nervous now. They know they have to win and who knows what reaction that will bring? I certainly don't think their recent away form will be a factor. Harper Simpson Williamson Coloccini Enrique Routledge Guthrie Nolan Jonas Carroll Lovenkrands SUBS: Krul, Kadar, R Taylor, Barton, Smith, Best, Ranger Which still leaves out Hall, Pancrate, Butt and Ameobi. 2-2. Should be an electric atmosphere. -
I still hope and pray that one day we'll end up with Chris Samba
-
Even if they ever were in danger, they're certainly not now. They should easily get at least 1 win out of Hull, Wolves and Burnley. Unfortunately.
-
They wooed Laws with their 3 year promotion plan.

If the rumours about Carroll's lass and the Swansea game are true, why did it take 5 weeks for something to happen? Sounds like Carroll had been planning this, rather than a spur of the moment flurry.

Crazy as it sounds, there is a website doing it. 5dimes.com (but its American). If only there was a British one!

Laylor is trying to invent conspiracies....it comes across as pathetic. "Oh he was close to Shearer, and Hughton hates him because of it". Aye, ok love.

We've had plenty of late equalisers/winners ourselves. I'd have settled for a draw for them before they kicked off. A point, a better GD and 2 games in hand is still a pretty nice position to be in. Yep, definitely. A win on Monday night would finish off a fantastic weekend for us.

Reading 1-1 WBA FT Good result before 3pm, but gutted about that equaliser
