but which Sheffield? My personal favourite was Enrique vs Forest, but I liked the teamwork for Ameobi's 2nd (i think) against Reading. Out of those, probably Jonas vs Barnsley.

I actually laughed aloud at that part. I'm convinced that if Hughton really has a good look at the free transfers list, we could get some crackers. We could easily stay up only on free transfers, but only with certain ones (mostly from abroad). He'd have to act very fast and sell the club a lot.

I know they've just won the Europa League etc., but Atletico Madrid are 7/2 to beat Getafe at home. Getafe have had a great season, but still........
-
MilanLab probably adds a few years onto their careers though, although it probably is time for a clearout. Ancelotti and Demichelis are trying to replicate it at Chelsea.

If by that he meant an obscure Estonian club in the Europa qualifying rounds......then maybe yes. yes they are!

Its not that important, but its about regional pride i guess. I certainly felt more of a connection to the England team when we had numerous players in it.

Bit harsh. They mentioned Sir Bobby

There'll be no national anthem at the Cardiff - Blackpool final. Don't want to anger those Welsh, do we boyo?

I guess this kind of fits in here: http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/blog/2010/may/14/england-north-east-football-world-cup Only 12 years ago, our star striker was captaining our country at the World Cup. Now Darren Bent getting in a provisional squad is as exciting as it gets for the North East. What a shame

I'm in disbelief at how much more sad and pathetic they get every day. Honestly, obsession doesn't even scratch the surface.

I was in love with that halved kit from last season

Atletico vs Fulham was one of the most boring European finals I've ever seen. Thankfully, Forlan put us out of our misery, and they definitely deserved the win That Leicester penalty

That it's superstition and that this is nothing but coincidences and bad luck like any rational and intelligent human being. Cole injured. Beckham, Rooney, Barry, Ferdinand injured. Now Terry possibly injured. Then theres all the personal stuff thats part and parcel of tournament year - affairs, divorces etc. The closer the tournament is, the more things seem to be going wrong. Obviously yes, its a coincidence, it can't be anything else. But its still very unlucky and worse than probably any other nation.

Capello must have sneered at the idea of an 'England jinx' when he arrived. Wonder what he thinks now.
