how old? Its not the legendary 'Julie' who I had the privilege of interviewing on placement was it?! I dunno. Late teens I would think. Skinny, long brown hair, long face, weird teeth, very stary, scary eyes. I have seen her photo on here before, that's the only place I know her from. aye, i remember seeing a photo of her with guthrie, he looked like a terrified hostage

would it be remotely likely that villa recalled shorey to sell him to us as cover? -

benayoun? van nistelrooy? -
it would have been crazy to have sold benayoun for £7m having spent £19m on aquillani. although that said, if i was martin o'neill i'd stick a cheeky bid in...

I almost feel a bit sorry for them now. nah, they're probably laughing at us for thinking we were actually signing beckford. routledge is a good signing though i'm glad we do some business under the radar sometimes -
http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=718166&cc=5739 diego buonanotte car crash ^ i'd not even heard that had happened until you mentioned it
-
i thought harewood was ok actually, just a bit short of proper match practice with him not getting a decent pre-season, i can still see us signing him in the summer for next to nowt like
-
Would have been more impressed if you can changed his name back after the translator was used on a serious note, hopefully he'll pull through. most shocking football news i've heard in a while.
-
i can't even remember what he plays like any more., what his strengths are/were etc it's been so long since anyone saw him fit and play a run of games, probably about 3 years or so at man city
-
i think grayson has said for beckford to play to the best of his ability to the end of the season so more clubs come to him in the summer with bigger signing on fees etc
-
yup. we know west brom are probably the best footballing side in the division, no question about that. it's not sour grapes on our part either getting beat at the weekend, you can take being beaten when you've been outplayed but when it's through bad refereeing and play acting it's difficult not to be a bit narked.

that's class!

personally i think he'd have taken us down that season. then whinged, pissed and moaned about how it wasn't his fault. the squad's morale was through the floor, the players were confused with what he wanted (as per that training video) he wasn't playing martins, who was our biggest goal threat. i doubt allardyce would have had the nous to play 3 up top like keegan did, he'd have stuck with lumping the ball long upfield and playing for draws

i like tevez, he's always reminded me of wor pedro
