Yup, I would imagine the back four will be Zabaleta Richards Kompany Bridge for the time being, but they'll bring in another centre back at least (not Terry). If we were still in the prem I'd have loved us to go for Onuoha. i could imagine onuoha would end up @ villa if citeh bring in centre backs for some reason

perhaps sir alex is keeping his £ for next summer, when transfer fees get inflated again post world cup? i imagine giggs/scholes/neville might retire at the end of this season, so he'll be looking to replace them next summer and will need all the £ to do it.
-
errrrm, the world cup? 2/3 matches on tv every day for a month or so
-
Steve Bruce would look good in that, f***ing Bagpuss

Have said it somewhere in this thread, you can't be asking for a 100m for a club that costs 20m every 3 months to run (as is). He (MA) is either greedy or doesn't want to sell. I think he's greedy and now doesnt give a s*** what happens to the club. I've a feeling he'd rather run us into the ground and asset strip than he would accept a lower price If the club is run into the ground then any 'asset stripping' will go to pay creditors ie outstanding transfers, banks etc as well as Ashleys loan. Its a long drawn out and utterly pointless exercise which no sane person would chose over simply selling and and cutting whatever losses he has now. To start off saying he is greedy then summerising he prefers to take a massive loss is a strange conclusion I mean he'll asset strip first. NOt sure what these assets are? Other than players what exactly do you think he can sell? Exactly. he could re-name 'shearer's' as 'ashley's'

as melodramatic as that sounds, it does seem to be happening there doesn't seem to be any light at the end of a very long dark tunnel

That's one of the reasons, but the Mayor of Amsterdam said he'd prefer Sunderland to be booted out of the tournament. am i right in thinking that the sunderland / feyenoord hooligans are mates? i'm sure i remember someone telling me that in amsterdam. maybe that's why the mayor wanted them out of the tournament incase there was any bother with feyenoord/safc hooligans teaming up and causing bother with the ajax ones? -
i wanted to see habib as captain, leading us back to the premiership. don't blame him for wanting to go now though, we're a fucking shambles

we want RANGER #10

Most hated player in the league now? He's got to be up there surely. barton will still be top by a country mile i reckon. i can imagine the media will see owen as 'the poor little lamb' sort of type who was kidnapped by newcastle for 4 years, but he's back and smiley now....
