Merson comes out with some crackers like. Remember him dismissing the tyne wear derby as "not a proper derby". Another good one was when Vieira signed for Man City, he sat there and said that his experience will be valuable because the city squad haven't got a medal between them.
-
thats how i've been saying it in my hesd.

Yes he's signed for them and the problem was noticed later. ahhh didnt realise he'd signed already. Assumed this was his first medical.

apparently so. http://www.google.com/hostednews/afp/article/ALeqM5hSMCE9a82UKBojBFIMxbffgWmO3A http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1304898/Everton-West-Ham-Spurs-alert-heart-defect-puts-Remys-Marseille-doubt.html

Marsielle have found problems with Loic Remy's heart during a medical and his move is on hold apparently. Not sure how much this has to do with this tall tale but there you go.

I used to like Amdy (Amady?) Faye before he came here. He wasnt that bad in his time here imo

Newcastle United v Aston Villa (the season starts here, maybe)

26 Page thread on Lets all laugh at Newcastle. Other than RTG, I bet you'd not find another thread like that. Really really do despise that club. -
What he's doing makes no sense what so ever though. Taking a chance of spending nothing and being relegated is a much bigger financial gamble than spending a some money that would keep us up. If anything, by not spending money and increasing our chances of relegation he's taking a bigger risk financially than spending some money. Speculate to accumulate and all that. He recognised the need for players in January and he spent, and we were promoted. Ashley spending no money is bizzare for me.
-
He's already given him 1.4M to spend on James Perch ffs. Some people are never happy.
-
None of it makes any sense whatsoever, Tom. Judging or no Judging at least I am the only one here who thinks the future is bright. That's because you're insane, mate. Nowt to be proud of. I cant stop laughing at that.

None of it makes any sense whatsoever, Tom. Can you speak any foreign language like?

Along with the scoreboard. No doubt a move made simply to have a dig at those singing nasty things about Ashley.
-
Never mind lads. Hughton is confident of signings. If all else fails, we'll still have Alan Smith. Chin up.

I'm not an Ashley supporter and I'm pretty peeved that we're simply refusing to spend money, but this ridiculous myth that Ashley is pocketing the TV money etc. just has to stop. He's not allowed to take money out of the club willy nilly, it's not how it works . So where's it gone? Paying off the mess left by the bloke before him who spunked money that wasn't there. Ah, clearing the debts? The same debts Ashley claimed to have cleared in his first season here?

Lets just delete this thread and pretend we never had the gaul to actually believe this shabolic regime could actually pull off a decent transfer.

Fucking kne we wouldnt get him, especially when Ozil left. A player that could potentially keep us up and we've fucked around. 28th Of July was when we first registered interest for fucks sake, we should have tied it up before Marsielle even had offers for Niang. Bollocks. 17th Of August and we've signed James Perch.
-
I'd absolutely cream if we got Zarate like
-
Not that worried about that performance too much. Individual mistakes cost us the goals. Jonas lost the ball in a dangerous position for the first goal, leaving us exposed. Routledge failed to track the run of Evra for the 2nd, when you play man utd you've got to go with their fullbacks when they get forward, a lapse in concentration. Their 3rd was again a player wanting too much time on the ball, Enrique fannying on, mind Man United worked it fantastically well when they won it back. Not saying 3-0 flattered them, but it was individual mistakes that cost us. We looked like we lacked ideas and creativity forward and as Hughton said we failed to keep the ball. We must keep the ball better than that unless we'll be punished as was much of the problem in 07/08. Honourable mentions to Nolan and Perch who both looked inadequate. The former especially. Villa at home will be a real test to see how far we've come, confidence wont be shattered which was important after this. Oh and Paul Scholes. Absolutely ran the show tonight, his passing, my word. Talk about pinpoint. It's not often I'm in awe at an opposition player during the match but i was tonight.
-
Far from a certainty imo. It's between anyone of the 3 promoted sides, Wigan, West Ham and Bolton for me. Though having said that, I do think if we fail to sign another player this window we will go down.

Certainly looking like it. What with him reconsigning the need for both stability and progression thus providing the funds to not only keep us in the league, but build a good team that will over time achieve success while remaining financially stable. Exactly. I was being sarcastic man. Ashley has done none of that. Living on cloud cuckoo land... Has he like?
