Loki is dead right tbf. The very least he could do is keep it off social media. Unfortunately he seems to be a fucking thick cunt.

Hope he had a lovely holiday in Dubai

We've dropped off in intensity and look so much more frail at the back. That might be down to a forced change in style, it might not. We're poor on the ball, how many times have we been caught on the break this year? It's almost every game we see. Opposition players finding space between the lines. Not all of this is down to fatigue. It's not working, whatever he's doing. He'll have to either bring back that intensity,or find a way for this less intense style of play to work. If he doesn't, he'll be gone by the end of January id say.

Abysmal this.
-
Longstaff is another one who's not good enough either, let's be honest.
-
Trippier playing him on
-
Dan Burn
-
He's absolute pony. A completely limited footballer who's been found out. Right wing should be the priority first and foremost
-
Almiron is ab absolute abomination of a footballer. He's fucking shit.
-
Use your fuckin right foot Almiron

Newcastle United vs. Nottingham Forest: 26/12/23 @ 12:30 (Amazon Prime)

It's not, because Livramento was on the bench against Luton. Burn played 85 mins and Trippier the full game. -

Livramento has to be sick like. Howe is far too loyal to certain players -
He's woeful against teams that sit back. When you need a bit of craft, guile and quality to unlock a defence and he's not the one. If we're playing on the counter or pressing high up, he can be useful, otherwise he's no good. The lack of right foot is astonishing for a player at that level too. He's been exposed massively over the last few weeks for his refusal to use his right. He just can't do it and it limits him massively. Just one example from the past week - any other footballer drills that across the box, but Almiron cuts back onto his left. It's not good enough for a top level player and he needs replaced in the starting XI asap.
-
Absolutely fucking shite that like. We don't have enough players who can play with the ball at their feet. Need to get ruthless.
-
Aye, because it's absolutely worth keeping Dan Burn on the pitch for 85 minutes when you're chasing the game and have the majority of the ball. Fuckin hell.
-
You know when the ball falls to Almiron it isn't going in. Worst possible game for him given we need a bit of a craft a guile to break them down. Need rid sooner rather than later
-
Would have hooked Longstaff tbh
-
Were absolutely pathetic on the ball. Constantly giving it away. If it's not Miley, Schar or Bruno on the ball, forget about it. We simply don't know how to play with it. Outfight us and you've won.

Trippier done twice already

Don't play Ritchie, that's all I ask -
I think his confidence has taken a hit. A few mistakes and he's second guessing himself. When you lose a bit of confidence, its that split second hesitation that we saw last night. Its that hesitation that makes you second guess your technique and miss a pen, that hesitation that makes you misplace a pass. I dont think his sudden issues are down to age, I dont really think last night was down to fatigue either. Unless he explicitly says he needs a rest and his body is shot, id have him straight back in the team for Luton. A couple of solid games and he'll be back imo and where better to start that one of the weakest teams in the league.

The thing is with sitting back, you still need an outlet. Tonight we had Ritchie who is finished. A knackered Almiron and Wilson who can't really play more than an hour. I know it's the same old story but if we were able to make changes, we'd see that game out. We couldn't stretch them or hit them on the break. Even so, it was an individual error that cost us. Howe's hands are largely tied at the minute.
