Absolutely sick of these injuries like. It's almost every fucking game some cunt is injured for fuckin months.
-
Is there anything more pointless than an 'onfield review'? What's the fucking point in the charade of the ref going over to the monitor if we know they're going to change their decision every time. Just let those in the VAR room decide. Fucking waste of time man.

Lewis Miley: signs six-year contract extension (Official)
Doctor Zaius replied to Ronson333's topic in Football
Thought he looked spot on tonight. He looks technically really good and has football intelligence was beyond his years. You'd worry about a 17 year old not being physical enough but it hasn't shown. -
Thought that was brilliant. Really enjoyed it - aside from the nervy finish. Their plan was clearly to try and keep it tight and then influence the game later with subs. Was disappointed to go in at half time 0-0 but the goal was coming. Thought Bruno was superb. He's playing his best football since joining us. Livramento great again too. Miley was class as well. Rashford was an absolute disgrace. Rarely do you see a player simply not try but he couldn't give a fuck. Forget about Maguire who I thought was alright tonight, Rashford should be absolutely nowhere near the England squad. They were shite and their fans were wank.

Newcastle United vs. Manchester United: 2/12/23 @ 20:00 (TNT Sports)

Good chance to be 5th after this weekend! -
I'm still fuming like. VAR has ruined the sport but it's not the technology, it's the incompetency of the officials. If you go over to the monitor, you have to change the decision. When was the last time we seen a ref go to the monitor for a look and keep their decision? Barely ever. You're going for a closer look, you should really be using it to affirm your decision about 25% of the time. If every time you go to the monitor, it's overturned, then what in the fuck is the point in bothering with that process at all? Not to mention, the rules and guidelines being clear as mud. It really shouldn't be this hard. It's pathetic.

I'd take a draw - even though that means a draw from Dortmund makes it impossible for us to go above them and probably out of the CL. Other results go out way though and we still might be in with a shout. A loss and a Milan win would be a real comedown. A dead rubber against Milan would be such a shame.

He's been so good like. Brilliant today. What a turnaround.

Is it true Silverstone said that the averages was 33% success rate in the ballots? And that they've tried purchasing from resellers and the tickets don't exist? I'm sure people on this forum have bought from resellers ffs. Talking absolute rubbish on both counts.

Your own football ability - how good are/were you?
Doctor Zaius replied to Big Geordie's topic in Football
You don't realise how good professional players are until you play against one. We had a lad play for our uni team for a semester who was also playing in the Finnish top tier. He was ridiculously good. -

I was alright. Played for the school, seconds at uni, local Saturday and Sunday leagues here and Derby, Saturday Alliance for a few seasons up here, what seemed like a well organised, decent level in Spain. When I was a student Id train on a Monday, play for the uni on a Wednesday, play Saturday morning and then for my mates Christian team on a Saturday afternoon then play on a Sunday morning too with the odd futsal game midweek as well. Two ACL operations later and ive not kicked a ball in about four years. Might try and play 5 a side again but i just dont trust my knee. Going to try and join a midweek cricket side - even though im rubbish. Just want to be involved in something again. -
Would love one of Georgia, Kazakhstan or Luxembourg to qualify, particularly the latter two.

Dont think we'll bother with Ekitike. He'd take a while to get up to speed given that he's not played a minute of football since August. Nowhere near the PSG team. Wonder why we couldnt have him training with us from now with a transfer/loan arranged to go through in January. Guess its legally too complicated but it would suit all parties.

Absolutely fuming that i forgot to turn auto renew off for the Athletic and the cunts took £30 off me or whatever it was. Read all about it! Newcastle takeover completed after negotiations!

Pope in the England XI Theres a reason why he's continually overlooked by Southgate. He cannot kick a ball. Going from players used to playing with Pickford, who is really good with his feet to Pope would set any team right back. Im not saying he's not a good goalkeeper, he's one of the best shot stoppers in the country and the command of his area is very good, but he shouldnt be coming into that England side.

I remember the last time Grantham played at Ashington, in the FA Cup it was. Ground has moved since then though!
-
He is but im not sure his footballing age is 28. Been playing at the top level from 17/18. Certainly on the decline despite a recent improvement in form.

Out for 6 weeks according to Baldwards. You knew as soon as Isak was injured, Wilson wouldnt stay fit. Hamstring injury basically every season at a minimum. What can you do.
