  1. This little dude had our best chance in the first half, arriving into the box late and should have buried it. Then he goes and makes a ferocious tackle on an opposition player, slips in Sissoko who got an assist on the counter. How some people can categorically say that he offers nothing as if he never ever will is beyond me.

  2. Proper weird his fans that crawl out the woodwork after a few games. Why don't you have the courage of your convictions to come on after three consecutive derby defeats and tell us how good he is?

Had some donkey tweeting some provocative shit at me the last couple of days now that we're winning because of my strong anti-Pardew tweets in the past. He's not even a Newcastle fan. Just some media wannabe arselicker trying to be inflammatory. That's the kind of following Pardew has. Blinkered idiots who don't understand that the details make up the bigger picture.

  3. The most realistic way of getting Pardew out at this point is probably us winning a cup, finishing 4th, and him getting poached by Liverpool :yao:

That would be the best thing to happen in history. Ever. Of all mankind and animalkind.

  4. Loki's right like

I don't even think he's a bad player, that would be daft, but he's a far cry from the commanding central midfielder you need. He fills in a role because we have no-one better - maybe Abeid but we'll have to see more of him.

I see Colback as more of a standard box to box central midfielder (Rob Lee with less goals) rather than a tiote-esque DM. I definately think he has a role in this team because he is decent if not spectacular both defensively and offensively, which is useful in a 3 man midfield with a good DM and a more able offensive midfielder like Sissoko. What we need is a Tiote replacement in addition to Colback.

    He's here already. Abeid.

Our best midfield this season has been Abeid, Colback and Sissoko. It works, and we should go with it every time all 3 are fit for selection.

  5. Will be a huge miss next week, his ball carrying on the counter attack will leave a huge gap in our options.

Not if Abeid has something to say about it. He's not Sissoko level, but he can drive with the ball.

  6. Resources and financial constraints

These numpties do not realize that it's the talent of our players which has pulled us through time and time again, rather than the manager knowing what to do given any set of players because he likes to play a certain way that gets results. We consistently get pulled out of the shit by purples hitting purple patches for long enough to keep us in this division.

There has been a marked difference in Pardew's use of Gouffran as a defensive winger though, and for that I give him credit.

  7. I always enjoy us beating Liverpool no matter who the manager is. That made my day a few weeks back. This Chelsea team is also full of cheating scum, and utter wankers, from Mourinho to Terry to Drogba and Costa, and I must admit I loved beating them because of that.

What are people going to do if we beat Spurs and get to the semis of the cup? You just know how things happen man, sod's law, this cunt will be the one to finally end the trophy drought up here. What do we do then? NOT enjoy our first trophy in ages?

It's really exasperating to feel this way. I've felt this way about NUFC for the last 2 years. I've reached a point where I'm ready to give up on football completely if this is all I'm getting from the club I support. These wins give me a little hope that the love affair isn't over forever, and is above Pardew or Ashley.

  8. aye it was a trickle of piss

or maybe the cross was so good, Cahill just couldn't deal with it fully.

Sammy had another good game where he has shown signs of improvement in the final third as far as his awareness goes. Certainly played his part in what was a determined and focused team performance.
