  1. I'll have him in now thank you very much. This would be one of those bargains our chief scout is famed for, and wouldn't affect the CB money IMO. Would really show that this club means business, and would catapult our chances of survival.

Debuchy, Remy, Sissoko, Graham and a CB and we'll win da leeg. Dis here seezn IMO.

  2. Seriously though, players must be buying this patter from Pardew about it all being down to injuries. That or Cabaye is properly in love with the place.

    We're 16th.

Well do you think it's that far fetched that potential signings take one look at our players and realize our false league position?

Of course not. It's the reasoning for that position that I'm referring to.

We're on course for 36 points with these players.

Well yes of course. The idea though is that we improve on form and have a reasonably good second half of the season, finishing 11th to 14th ish.

  4. Bit giggs, but aye, he was supreme yesterday. Norwich had zero joy on that side. Kept Snodgrass very quiet from open play. His understanding with Coloccini is very good. Also drove us forward more than any of our midfielders combined.

  5. Without Cronaldo, Real Madrid only managed a single shot on goal yesterday

    One man team.

They are. But take Messi out of Barca and they'd struggle, too.

That's the Spanish NT and we've done allright :p

But I think they rely on him more. Take Cronaldo, Falcao and Messi out of their teams and Barça would still be La Liga's top goalscoring side.

It's also a leadership thing; Cronaldo is the only one to give a damn nowadays, as witnessed yesterday. That was the most apathetic Real Madrid game I have seen since Mou's been managing them.

I don't think it can be measured over one odd game here and there. AM would struggle, yes. But for Barca and Real, I don't think they would struggle over the long term if CR and Messi got long term injuries let's say. Barca would still be superior, but Real wouldn't be that far behind.
