  1. Wildcard used.

I'm basically the worst player in the world, and the only fuckers below me are people who haven't bothered with their team since week 1.

New team is based on players I reckon will pick up form in the second half of the season/I got nothing to lose:

    Lloris, Bunn

Walker, Zabaleta, G Johnson, Azpilicueta, B Davies

    Michu, Downing, Mata, Walcott, Snodgrass

    Remy, Sturridge, Rooney.

Got rid of Begovic, Huth, Shawcross, Garrido, Clark, Fellaini, Ba, Suarez, Cazorla, Ivanovic and Cisse (only because I decided not to have any NUFC players in my squad).

With the above set-up I can mix and match, and still keep a strong spine.

  2. They are playing good football again, and getting results. BR certainly ahead of Parky now for me. As much as it pains me to say it, but I reckon they will finish above Arsenal. Maybe we need a thread for that

  3. Adkins is not the type of manager we need now. It's not about getting someone in who is simply better than Pardew. We need someone who will come in and get the best out of our star players to see us through to the end of the season. Has to be a massive character who can withstand the pressure. Someone with a positive attitude towards football, and is not afraid to drop under performers. Poyet is the only one that fits the bill out of the usual names being bandied about. Not sure if January is the time for a manager to come in from outside of England.

  4. Needs to be shipped out sharpish. He is spineless and has no fight in him left. They say the team out on the pitch mirrors their manager. Out of his depth in this league, and so are we.

Not tomorrow, not Monday. Tonight. He needs to go.

    RMC better ?

Newcastle continues its market in France. Magpies leaders have approached these last hours of the entourage of Mapou Yanga Mbiwa . English club thought the arrival of Nicolas Isimat-Mirin , but the player Valenciennes will finish the season with the club, according to its president Jean-Raymond Legrand . However, Alan Pardew has asked a central defender this winter. 15th of Premier League would quickly enlist the player Montpellier . The situation could evolve from Montpellier captain this weekend. Loulou Nicollin repeated these days only Cabella and Stambouli were transferable. President héraultais could accept an offer of € 7 million for Mapou Yanga Mbiwa

  6. If only we could this lad, De Jong & Mbiwa.

We'd at least have a chance then.

I'm not sure what De Jong would do for us. We need wide player/s.

How good is de Jong ??

Stuck a few past city no problem, and would be the perfect fit just behind cisse imo.

He basically plays the Nolan role but significantly better.

  7. Find myself less and less interested in who we sign and don't sign. I just want us to play games and win them ffs. How can we be so pessimistic about beating Reading? Even with our injuries and small squad, surely we have too much for them? Fucking hell Pardew, sort this shit out man!  :knuppel2:

That post could have gone in any one of several threads. It's just the overriding feeling for me. We need the games. We need the points more than we need the new players, if that makes any sense.

  8. Question: If say I have Cisse as my captain for the coming week, and Walcott as VC, does Walcott become captain for the midweek ARS-WHU game?

Nope if Cisse plays then your Captain cannot change

Not even for the midweek game when Cisse doesn't play?

Edit: Sorry, you are right. Just managed to find the help section

  9. I'e spent a lot of the time since he signed wishing we'd buy an attacking left back. Now we really need a left footer further forward

What if this Haidara lad can play further forward as well? Maybe they're thinking they could develop him into an attacking player if he has the attributes for it.

  10. Are we buying players just because they actually accept our offers? Because it sure seems like it, so friggin useless. WE DO NOT NEED ANOTHER WINGBACK, WHY IS IT EVEN BEING DISCUSSED AND BID FOR?!!! GEEZ so f***ing dumb.

    :anguish:

  11. A young, promising left back makes sense tbh.

Debuchy and Santon is a nice starting pair but after them we have nothing. If either of them get injured having someone who isn't Danny Simpson or Ryan Taylor to step in would be handy. The fact that Santon can play both sides means that this chap would essentially be backup for two spots.

Obviously this is pretty f***ing low on the list of priorities though, and it probably just means Santon will be off soon.

Also may mean that Simspon is on his way out.
