    Newcastle have played 16 away games in all competitions this season and have not won any of them; 38 goals have been conceded in those games.

        No Premier League side have conceded more headed goals than Alan Pardew's men (11) this season.

    The Magpies (17%) have played a higher proportion of long passes (35 yards or more) than any other Premier League team this season.

        Twenty points from 21 matches is Newcastle's lowest ever points haul in the Premier League era.

    A family crisis is a family crisis people.

     

    If it's true I doubt we'll have a proper compromise. Worst case scenario, he buggers off to Argentina and we stop paying him. He's trying to go the gentleman route.

     

    Which ties in with what his father has said.

    I'm not sure picking him is a good idea, even if we are that badly off at the moment. He could have a feckin mare tomorrow. :(

     

    And if he does, the fans will turn on him like wildfire. It would probably be the end of his time here certainly. Could burn too many bridges. As it stands, there is still a tiny glimmer that this is all bollocks, or that he could be persuaded to change his mind. Fucking dilemma.

    Thing is even if he doesn't actually leave - to San Lorenzo at least seems very unlikely - what effect will this have on the rest of the players and Colo's own performances which have been indifferent recently?

     

    Unless he personally comes out and rubbishes the claims, OR admits that he wants to go and absolves all parties connected to NUFC from any blame, then it could potentially be disastrous. Proper end of days stuff for NUFC.

    This could potentially be a devastating blow to our survival hopes, so I just refuse to accept that the club would let it happen without at least shelling out on a proper replacement. It really is the end if the worst scenario materializes (Colo leaves and we replace him inadequately).

    He was just about to get the sack as well and was punching the air that someone was daft enough to take him on. Not as much as Blackburn, presumably, who we saved a fortune in compensation because we couldn't wait a few days.

     

    Such an embarrassing time. Is the fuckwit still a Champions League pundit?

    I'm an improvement on Williamson as even though I'm fat, slow and s***,  I haven't got the turning circle of an articulate lorry and can pass a ball.

     

    In fact, aids is an improvement on Williamson.

    Tomkins and Graham not as sexy as Remy and Douglas.

    But push comes to shove, would you take it? Not only is Tomkins nothing special, he's not the type of defender we need. If he's versatile at all though, it might be the reason we're going for him.
