That Roberto lad who played against Cordoba
:smitten:
Stunning ball control and vision. Aimar lookalike.

Without Cronaldo, Real Madrid only managed a single shot on goal yesterday
One man team.
They are. But take Messi out of Barca and they'd struggle, too.
That's the Spanish NT and we've done allright
But I think they rely on him more. Take Cronaldo, Falcao and Messi out of their teams and Barça would still be La Liga's top goalscoring side.
It's also a leadership thing; Cronaldo is the only one to give a damn nowadays, as witnessed yesterday. That was the most apathetic Real Madrid game I have seen since Mou's been managing them.
I don't think it can be measured over one odd game here and there. AM would struggle, yes. But for Barca and Real, I don't think they would struggle over the long term if CR and Messi got long term injuries let's say. Barca would still be superior, but Real wouldn't be that far behind.

That dive from Gaston Ramirez was shocking. Worse than Cazorla's. Wish they could rescind the goal and give them a point each

Sorry if giggs, but what was sung for Colo today? I could hear his song, but wasn't sure if it still contained the bit about the wife shagging.

That photo of wor skipper is heart-breaking

the ultimate first line fail.
Agree with the rest of the post.

He would need to improve his English tenfold if he's to be made captain IMO.

From the BBC preview.
Newcastle have played 16 away games in all competitions this season and have not won any of them; 38 goals have been conceded in those games.
No Premier League side have conceded more headed goals than Alan Pardew's men (11) this season.
The Magpies (17%) have played a higher proportion of long passes (35 yards or more) than any other Premier League team this season.
Twenty points from 21 matches is Newcastle's lowest ever points haul in the Premier League era.
Long pass percentage will go down with Danny Simpson out of the team.

Graham Courtney isn't employed by NUFC these days right?

I want Colo to stay captain
This!
-
Shola for the rest of the season. He'll put his all into being the senior figurehead. Captain on the pitch could be Cabaye or even Krul. Shola would do really well in the behind the scenes stuff though. Can't be starting him because he's captain.

Hold me. I'm scared. Bimpy?

A family crisis is a family crisis people.
If it's true I doubt we'll have a proper compromise. Worst case scenario, he buggers off to Argentina and we stop paying him. He's trying to go the gentleman route.
Which ties in with what his father has said.
-
I'm not sure picking him is a good idea, even if we are that badly off at the moment. He could have a feckin mare tomorrow.
And if he does, the fans will turn on him like wildfire. It would probably be the end of his time here certainly. Could burn too many bridges. As it stands, there is still a tiny glimmer that this is all bollocks, or that he could be persuaded to change his mind. Fucking dilemma.
-
I'm undecided whether I want to follow this tomorrow or not....
Man up, man. Of course you do.
-
Thing is even if he doesn't actually leave - to San Lorenzo at least seems very unlikely - what effect will this have on the rest of the players and Colo's own performances which have been indifferent recently?
Unless he personally comes out and rubbishes the claims, OR admits that he wants to go and absolves all parties connected to NUFC from any blame, then it could potentially be disastrous. Proper end of days stuff for NUFC.
-
Would be absolutely heart breaking to see him go. Don't really care about the man himself, but what he represents.
-
Club tweets are probably handled by a third party specializing in social network marketing. I doubt it's someone sat inside SJP tweeting shit all over the place.
-
Zat fucking Knight?
-
This could potentially be a devastating blow to our survival hopes, so I just refuse to accept that the club would let it happen without at least shelling out on a proper replacement. It really is the end if the worst scenario materializes (Colo leaves and we replace him inadequately).

Pass Debuchy on the right hand side, this bong character on the left. Wonder if we'll go after Chris Blunt at any point?
Mari Juan Sensimilla for sporting director and we're flying high.
-
He was just about to get the sack as well and was punching the air that someone was daft enough to take him on. Not as much as Blackburn, presumably, who we saved a fortune in compensation because we couldn't wait a few days.
Such an embarrassing time. Is the fuckwit still a Champions League pundit?
all talk of that era should be banned until we've won something again when we can look back on it and laugh.
