Obertan on the right wing and Lovenkrands up front will not work. Then again it's better than Lovenkrands on the right
Fucking embarrassing that we don't at least have a LB in place already let alone a new forward.
Hoping for some nice through balls from Cabaye to Best to tuck away. HTL

Suits his business model. Fair play to him regardless of how shit his brands are. Rather have a successful Ashley at the helm than a flagging one.
-
Turned this on 10 mins ago. Cissokho is yet to touch the ball in that time.
edit: and then promptly makes a great block, romps forward, and fouls someone.

Suarez really, really hates coming off. Got to love that.
w*** time over for you now?
What?!
Get the f*** out of here. The hell is your problem.
You just stick to wanking over Dennis Rodman you freak.
what a flop. if you're a Liverpool supporter then I apologize whole heartedly.
There you go buddy. Go wild!!!

what are you? 8?
Just for the record, Dennis Rodman will shag 10 shades of red out of your little cheating Uruguayan princess my boy
Dude. I found you a nice Rodman pic to enjoy, so get out of here!
Suarez had a good game. Nothing wrong with appreciating it. Doesn't make me a liverpool supporter, or him my princess.
You however love yourself some "worm" action. That's filthy!
You jelly?

Out of interest, what proven goalscorer would people liked us to have signed? I assume proven means in the prem?
There's pretty much nee f***er that fits the description, who is affordable, and would come here. Think people just say s*** for the sake of saying s*** tbh
That's why selling Carroll was such a w*** idea, it's not rocket science. The question is better directed at the people on here who repeatedly said we'd EASILY replace Carroll with a better striker with that money. Or maybe Graham Carr.
Proven in any top flight league would be a start.
On footballing grounds, I don't think anyone agreed or was happy with selling Carroll!! The only argument pro the sale was the fee. Nothing else about the sale was a good thing. But now, people piss and moan whether it's Roux we're linked with, or Defoe/Crouch.

I'd go with the school of thought that whilst this lad might have potential, we need someone proven in. Unfortunately, it's not gonna happen and we'll more than likely end up with another Kuqi type signing on deadline day. The transfer of Pieters seems to be taking a long time to sort as well. Poor from NUFC once again.
Such as?

Suarez is such an odious despicable little twat. Hope he gets hit full in the bollocks by someone....anyone. Cunt
-
Trying to emulate the CL draw or what? ffs
-
Nice. Has to be Ba over Best though
Aye, people going mental with a team with Best as the striker is a bit weird.
Give the lad chances, and he'll bury them. With all that creativity behind, any daft bastard would score.

We'll get Birmingham City away.

----------------------------Krul
Simpson----Taylor--------------Coloccini---------Cissokho
----Cabaye--------------Tiote------------------Jonas
--------------Roux----------------Ben Arfa
---------------------------Best
Hells yeah
Edit: and with Harper, Ba, Ameobi, Marveaux, Vuckic, Ferguson, Williamson, Gosling, SAmeobi, and Abeid we have a decent crop that would form a light yet exciting squad.
-
Maybe Jonas as a midfield three alongside Cabaye & Tiote, with Roux & Ben Arfa behind Ba/Ameobi/Best?
With all that firepower in behind, wouldn't mind any of the 3 tbh

Hey sister, go sister, soul sister, flow sister (oh)
Hey sister, go sister, soul sister, flow sister
He met Marmalarde down in old NOLAN ROUX
Struttin his stuff on the pitch
He said, "Hello, hey Joey, you wanna give it a go?
Gitchie, gitchie, ya ya da da (yeah-ey)
Gitchie, gitchie, ya ya here (here)
Mocha Chocolata ya ya (ooh yeah)
Creole Lady Marmalarde
Voulez-vous coucher avec moi ce soir (ah, oh)
Voulez vous coucher avec moi (Yeah yeah yeah yeah)
good effort, cant see it working as a chant tho ...
Where's the effort in replacing two words two names?
-
IMO exactly the type of forward we need. Hope to fuck this is true, and actually materializes.
-
Bolton sign Dedryck Boyata on season-long loan from Manchester City.
We could have done with someone like that.
cover in case Cahill goes? problem is would he be first choice here? if not why would city loan us him
He's better than Taylor and Williamson.
Who? Boyata? Seriously?
-
Great result in the end. Shitting it for extended periods! Toon Army was fantastic!
Krul - 8 - Excellent saves and command of his area. Kicking needs work
Simpson - 3 - Shocking. In the literal sense of the word
Coloccini - 8 - Captain's performance. Went to sleep in a couple of instances. He recovered well and it didn't cost us
S Taylor - 9 - Thought he was absolutely outstanding when he came on. Mopped up literally every single ball that came his way. Drove the team forward
R Taylor - 6 - Beautiful goal again. Clearly not an answer to LB issues
Loven - 5 - Why on earth is he on the right side of midfield? Missed a few sitters
Gosling - 7 - Put himself about the pitch. Needs to play more competitive matches. Unlucky not to have more goalscoring chances. Got forward well a la Nolan
Cabaye - 8 - Here, there, every f***ing where! Great to see him well up for the new challenge. Seems to have taken well to his new club
Marveaux - 7 - Bright in spells. Some lovely deft touches. Needs games
Best - 7 - Toiled up front and should have scored. Not bad
Ba - 4 - Apart from a few nice touches early on, offered nothing
Ameobi - 9 - Done the lot. Seems to have a knack for end-product. Plays with wonderful drive and enthusiasm. Belter of a goal. Long may it continue
Vuckic - 8 - Full of running. Looks like a proper footballer. Intelligent and determined to do well
Phew!
Generous for Colo, was his poor clearance that eventually cost us the goal, agree more with Jonny Hall re Colo
Very generous, I'd say. It was a very physical encounter and it looked like he wasn't relishing it. He produced some good interceptions as usual, but it wasn't his night.
And it was anything but a captain's performance. The back four looked disorganised.
Naah. I initially thought he deserved a 7, but decided to bump it up to an 8 due to the fact that, on more than one occasion, he tried to bring the ball out of defence himself, or showed for the ball carrier and became an outlet when we were under the cosh. It looked like he had realized that it would be one of those nights for him, and played a different game. When you realize your own failings, and find an alternative way of dealing with it, imo, means you've done your job as team captain. That lung busting raid down their left flank told what he's all about. In my view anyway.

Hoops must feel quite familiar to him now
-
Don't blame Barton for leaving at all.
At his age, there is no choice between "four year deal" and "f*** all".
We've purposely weakened our side, there's no chance of replacing him (considering we need a LB, CF and CB) and we let him go for f***ing nowt.
What a farce the whole saga has been.
So you think we've done this on purpose? As in with the full intention of achieving worse results and a worse finish than last season?
-
So Barton's opted to move away. So what!?
We'll live.
