Came out of nowhere this lad. Really excited to see what he's like in a couple years time when he's filled out physically and got some experience under his belt. I reckon a half season loan to a CCC club starting now would do him the world of good. Then he can come back, and apply himself. Legend already

Spuds will have done well keeping Modric for this season. With the squad they have, and the way they play football, I can see them quietly sneaking up on Arsenal and Liverpool and pipping both for 4th spot. I didn't think he'd stay, but credit to the jowly cockney pensioner and his chairman for sticking to their guns on this one. If Modric has the desire to continue to play for his manager, they'll do very well this season imo.

Got forward well a la Nolan Cabaye - 8 - Here, there, every fucking where! Great to see him well up for the new challenge. Seems to have taken well to his new club Marveaux - 7 - Bright in spells. How many years does this useless git still have on his contract? Can't imagine he and Barton were on completely different levels of wages. If we can peddle the latter for free, surely we'd be better off paying up the rest of Smith's contrat? If he's so influential in the dressing room, then why not cancel his playing contract and offer him a "coaching role"?

The way Spurs are going about this thing is retarded imo. A player like Modric will not "sit and rot in the stands". These days players clearly have too much power for my liking, and while I despise stroppy cuntish behavior like Modric's (also see Maiga), Spurs will have to be realistic and cash in so they can buy a replacement in time. Certainly can't force the fucker to play!
