  1. you'll do one? edit: I have to apologize dude. didn't realize the capital "IF", and misunderstood what you meant. I'll do one instead
  2. I reckon Pardew should persist with Obertan for now. The lad needs a consistent run of games as he adjusts to his new teammates, and gets to play consecutive matches, something he hasn't done for a couple of years now. If he can turn on the style and get into good form, he could be a frightening attacking prospect.
  3. Knock on fucking wood lads! Think the reason he was unhurt is that Bardsley's left leg slowed his momentum down going into the tackle, and softened the impact enough to leave wor Colo unharmed. What a fucking legend! My favorite player at the club at the moment.

    The Arsenal

While I do respect his single-mindedness, he's failed to deliver where it matters - results. Prissy football can only get you so far. Unless the Arsenal board are happy making huge profits on the youngsters they bring through, and want nowt more from him.

    Ligue 1

Was one of the best performers at the last world cup. Wish we'd gone in for him instead of chasing N'Zogbia at the time.
  6. Godd job he's not their manager then no shit - dunno how that came out

    The Arsenal

Think Wenger and Arsenal should sever ties tbh. He's a brilliant manager, but he's no Ferguson. And personally I'm sick of the sight of him.
  8. They were beaten at Wolves today, so we should do this lot. Mark Hughes is a dick.
  9. Just being discussed in the other thread, our most successful side in recent times had some proper bell ends like Dyer and Bellamy. First we need to get some good players in then it's Pardew's job to manage them. Well yes, but we also had SBR managing that rat pack.
  10. Don't talk s*** about Maiga, he'll drop his cock on your foot so you break your metarsal and ankle. Sorry mate. Hadn't realized he was your guy.
  11. Ben Arfa... Yes but with HBA we knew the sort of player we'd be getting in the sense that he's a French international, who'd been on the scene for a few years and came with a big reputation. This guy, not so much. Could turn out to be a world beater, and hoy his toys out when Dogleash comes knocking next year. Or he could just be turboshit, with an attitude.
  12. Seriously though, as badly as we need a striker, do we really want this stroppy number in our squad? I really can't stomach whinging twats of that ilk. Is he really THE striker to fill the void? Do we want him THAT badly? So many questions that nee fucker has answers to. If this was Sturridge, then I'd pay over the odds and disregard the behaviour. Seeing as he's an unknown quantity I'm not too sure #panicbuyftw
  13. You've got a poofs name. In goal! probably get chucked in the reserves for lessons on "properness" with Deano Saunders
  14. Yup he's been half decent. Tends to get stuck in, and a lot of the play builds up through him, the way we did with Enrique.

    Ligue 1

Nice one Looking forward to Marseille - St Etienne tonight. Should be a good contest.
  16. Starts at LB for PSV away to Den Haag. Match kicking off now.
  17. What a fantastic result!! Some good signs in that game, and some not so good! Obviously we lack a serious goal threat, but I'm hoping, as everyone is, that with the return of Ben Arfa and a new striker in place, we'll threaten teams more. Our lack of goalscoring chances in the first 2 games is alarming! Would like to see more of Best and Ba, especially the former, as he seems to have a knack of being at the right place at the right time, and is a solid finisher. The positives, apart from having twatted the mackems, are in defence where I thought we were very solid. Our midfield and Tiote in particular didn't have the best day out. Special mention to Cabaye though for leading by example, closing down the scum defenders, and never stopped running! Wish we could have seen more of that from the anonymous Obertan and Ameobi. Tim Krul is developing into a top class goalkeeper! Not sure if it was Souness who was responsible for bringing him to the club - but credit where it's due. Top marks all round for a memorable win
  18. Wanted him taken off at 0-0, with Ba and Best brought on, as he provided zero goal threat apart from that corner. Once Ryan Taylor's beauty flew in, I wanted him to stay on to help protect the lead. His experience was vital in doing so.
