Arsenal fans have an inflated opinion about the size of their club. In the PL era their best players (Henry, Bergkamp, Viera) were rescued from the bench/sub-par stints in Serie A. When have Arsenal ever went out and bought the best in class (or very close) striker or midfielder? They don’t have that pull. Isak is a pipe dream and something they would discount if they actually thought about it for 5 minutes.

The club have walked into this one by having three other keepers not deemed fit to play for the first team. Pope is injured and Dubs wants away. We can’t let him leave now but he’ll only stay with a new contact.
