I’m as disappointed as the next fan with a lot of how this season has panned out; the summer window, the away form, the worrying dip in home form, some of the in game management/subs etc. However, Howe continues, in my opinion, to get us competing with some of the best, and wealthiest, clubs in world football. Yes we’ve had our usual hiding at the Etihad and Anfield and we’ve often not turned first half domination into wins, but fucking hell, Howe has largely been a magician since he came here. Yes there’s still issues (Wolte, Wissa, Elanga the GKs) but Howe normally finds solutions, like compensating for the loss of Bruno, the misfiring strikers etc. Hopefully we have a strong finish to the season and in the summer the executive structure starts to add value and gives Howe the support he needs.
