It’s years since I’ve heard an original chant. Most of ours are nicked from other clubs.
-
It’s simply because no-one from NUFC is answering any of their emails about Kelly who they want to return. They’ve started bombarding Tonali and asking him to have a word with the club.

The Europeometer™ (2024/25) - NUFC Qualify for Champions League

When I use the predictor apps I normally try and balance the results out with something unexpected, beat Ipswich, beat Brighton, draw with Chelsea, lose to Arsenal, beat Everton = 69 points. -
Not a vintage City by any stretch. I think they’ll struggle with Wolves and Bournemouth. They were pretty blunt.
-
Get in, definitely the best result for us. They took us apart and hopefully on Saturday it’s as you were, 5 points behind us.
-
Horrid game, watching City’s wide men constantly tacking back a la Grealish, is soul destroying.
-
City are shit, they deserve to lose this.
-
Hopefully they get three or four, get them closer to negative goal difference.
-
Where’s Solanke? I know he’s shit but Richarlison is making Frank Pingel look like Marco Van Basten.

I know we’ve had a chastening weekend but other clubs will drop points. I can’t see any of our rivals posting a 100% record. We’ve just got to win our home games and try and get something from Brighton. -

City will beat Villa, they won’t want to get dragged down despite an ‘easier’ run in. -
Fulham absolutely useless cunts.
-
We totally played into Villa's hands and the threat of runners exposing our ageing defence was evident in the first couple of Villa attacks.

Was hoping all this business would be concluded as soon as possible, well before the final two games ARS (A) EVE (H). Hopefully, we'll beat Ipswich and Chelsea and get something from Brighton. -
Murphy being bullied by Maatsen.
-
Hopefully they run out of steam, Forest paggered them in the second half.
-
Could we put Livramento on at RB and Targett on the left?
-
Agree, we are playing into their hands by pushing up too far. They are bypassing our press by just go long down the middle. I’d rather we defended deeper and challenged them to not lose the ball and allow our counter attacks.
-
We are struggling with Villa’s forward runs and Watkins movement. Vila getting some joy with the long ball from Martinez too. Our final ball has been poor.

We are treading on thin ice here

Aston Villa vs. Newcastle United: 19/04/25 @ 17:30 (Sky Sports)

We shouldn’t be scared of these, we are more than capable of getting the win. No need to push it with insane pressing. Let them try and work us out and hit them on the counter. One of Murphy’s raking diagonal drives is due to sneak inside the post. -

We win this, just read that Villa are unbeaten at Villa Park in 18 games. Apparently they were unbeaten in 17 games the last time we beat them at VP. I love these quirky stats. i knew we’d win the League Cup when the commentator said Alan Gowling, who scored our goal in the ‘76 final was having his 76th birthday on the day of the final. -
Lyon are so lightweight. They are done here.
