  1. Don't see anything wrong with that interview tbh. He say he is really happy here, and would only go if one of the top TOP clubs came in for him. And to be honest, who would not? He comes across as very humble and thankful for the help we have given him, and he wants to repay it. I might be to positive

based on what ? I guess its based on the fantastic players we have signed for relatively little money. Surly anyone can agree on that? the chief scout more important than the manager, well there's a new one. the chief scout will get reccomendations off his underlings and spot some his self, he'll pass them on to the manager after he's watched them etc, and all the senior management staff (pardew/lambias/charnley probabaly carver will have their say, (didn't pardew say he'd been to watch cabaye half a dozen times or so ?). what we have done of late is to do more research and take longer over finding out if the player is not only good enough but is right for us, that is down to a club ethos, probably from ashley/lambias/ and not graham carr's idea. it's this ethos thats changed, if not carr would have been doing this well at his previous clubs. my guess is that had pardew came in at a time when we were doing shit and calling for the managers head then those signings would have been seen as his and not carrs (interesting that obertan is classed by some as a pardew signing echoing the wise/keegan signings with some players moving from one to the other as they improved/worsened) when the truth is like what happens on the pitch it's a team effort as at most clubs. Good post Madras. (Sorry, thought it was Cajun first ) I did not necessarily agree with HTT, i just guessed what he based it on. I can see where HTT is coming from tbh, quality players does make the managers job a lot easier. I will say he is among the most important, as he showcase good players for our management and owner. I seriously doubt Cabaye, HBA, Tiote and Cisse would have been NUFC players if it was not for Carr. I think Pardew would have signed more PL based players, judged by his former history. Now, we will never know, but to think where we had been with signing PL/CCC players, who do not nearly have the same quality as the players we have now and probably cost nearly the same. We would not have the same momentum, i am pretty sure about that. The fact is that its not that important who is the most influential etc, the fact is that we have a manager who have done a really good job, and we can see he is evolving, and learning. And he is very likable. We have a owner, who also seems to have learned his shit the hard way. He is now content with the setup in place it seems, and let thing work out, while keeping in the background. Ashley is a emotional guy it seems, and he have had a rough ride in NUFC, much he can blame himself for. Now pieces is falling in place for him, and i feel he is more up for it now, and are willing to have a go. To add to this, we have Carr, who have been exceptional to uncover amazing deal on continental Europe. Many buys we have done have left other PL clubs in the dust. Cabaye being the prime example. As long as Carr can be on the front foot, find players who fit our profile, we might be in for a very good time, and a exciting future. As a nufc supporter, i have learned one thing. Enjoy the good times while it last, because history shows i wont last forever

 Love it, get in Mr Carr. This man have worked miracles for us. Long it may continue. 8 years man, we are surly winning CL at least 3 times during this time, surly
  6. He have tweeted a lot of nufc stuff lately. Started when someone started to tweet him some nufc pictures or something. He been going on since that. Think he had a good time here
  7. I rate Guthrie highly. But the lad need more pitch time. He have showed a very high level here, when he as at his best. But also very low, when he does not have his day. Maybe a place in a starting lineup over time will make him more consistent. If he gets going you will get a very good player imo.

  9. Its enough with the shit rumors in the press, but do we really need to make up our own. Shit and worthy of a Glasgow kiss imo.
  10. I read it in the tune of Macarena Ohhhhhhh Amalfitano.
  11. Oh I understand that, its just out of control at the top end. Doncaster could get to spend that 10 mil if they got to premier league. When would we ever get to spend 100 mil or 50 mil on one player. Its absolutely mental We spent 15m on Shearer, at the time a world record. Was pretty mental at the time tbh.
  12. That`s quite normal isent it, now their boyhood club can compete against the best, and pay them the same as in England/Spain etc, of course they want to join in.
  13. It isn't a real account. Le compte @MathieuDebuchy est un faux ! Merci de le bloquer et de le signaler comme spam. RT appréciés ! Roughly translated, [that account] is fake! Please block and mark as spam. Retweet thank you. Fuck off man, defo real, he just followed me, typical football player.
  14. Sent him a msg anyways, better safe than sorry, I am sure my tweet will be the one who makes it happen, fake or not.
  15. That`s something a brother can`t deny.
  16. In before people are calling him a club legend He is a very good player when he is at the top of his game. Have scored some wonderful goals. But he was too inconsistent, and at times had shocking performances. If he can go to a club where he can get a full season, and gain some form, he can be a very good player. I like the raw material All the best lad, good luck in the future.
  17. Well they did win the Champions League which will have brought in a lot of money and guaranteed a lot again next season. Also Drogbas going, freeing up wages and they could yet sell someone else to balance things out. If you are on twitter, check out swiss rambles latest tweets about Chelsea, and the prospect on signing Hazard and Hulk while trying to maneuver to cope with FFP. I do not have twitter here now, so i can not past it.
  18. FFS, people talk like we are going to miss a regular squad player. Ba was immense first half of the season, second half he had a drop in form. But we should do what we can to keep him. We need to build on what we have, next season we are in Europe, and hopefully a cup run. He will be very important player for us, loads of matches. Maybe we can afford to give him a rest during the season to! Good replacement or not, Ba need to stay imo. How anyone can say its ok that he leaves is fucking mental. We need to KEEP our best players.
  19. dan_bu ‏@dan_bu Bayern Munich have agreed personal terms with Manchester City's Edin Dzeko, according to "Sport 1". #FCB #MCFC Can see it happen like.

  21. Just to think he is worth around £20M in twelve months is quite mind boggling tbh. Welcome young lad!
  22. Don`t generalize man, fucking leeeeeeds dudes.
  23. at least he's making up tweets less than 140 characters now He is evolving, we must kill it with fire!
  24. Fucking Tyson man, its his trademark! Way to early to figure it out mind. New rule, never trust Tyson
