  1. Wasn't aware of this, what was our final offer for de Jong? Can imagine us testing the water with a similar figure. We aren't discussing Remy anymore in the Remy thread. We are discusiing Dan Gleebals name. Post Remy comments elsewhere. We can discuss Remy in a Dan Gleebals birthday tread, but not here pls.
  2. Fantastic signing if we are going with a front 3. Not gonna happen anyway, but nice player.
  3. Have we been linked with Loïc Rémy? Sorry to ask, but i do not want to go trough all this tread. Just heard some stuff at work, probably bullshit? riiight

  5. Yeah, that would be ridiculously funny.
  6. But lets say we use Jonas and Tiote as holding midfielders. Then we can send Debuchy (god bless him, and sign the dotted line you sexy fucker!) & Santon up as wingers. Then we have width, also, HBA will drift in the hole (awaiting mccarthy gif), using the space left at the wide positions. Same goes for Cisse/BA, more fluid system up front. Cabaye will advance centrally.
  7. Yeah, see you point guys. Cabaye Jonas Tiote I think it would be sexy as fuck, and as i see it, it would suit our player very nicely.
  8. If we get Debuchy, i would love us to try something like this, with offensive fullbacks. Ba Cisse HBA Jonas Cabaye Tiote Santon Colo Saylor Debuchy EL Krulo FMtastic!
  9. He was one of my favorite player before he came here to, i was just waiting for what club he would go to, Real, Barca, Manu. etc. Then he was linked to us, i was just laughing at home, did not believe it for 5 sec. Turned out to be a mental month after that
  10. High Five o

    Papiss Cissé

    Except he was face down.
  11. They will probably just ask City or Chelsea for advice.
  12. PSG man, will end in tears.
  13. A Norwegian commentator once said during a women football match: "It is not womens, and it is most certainly not football." Yes, he got some stick after that
  14. Same when he was here, you can probably find the evidence of it from a couple of years ago on here, if you're sad. Genuinely celebrated heavily on that 31st of January 2011. I knew then it was a great thing for the club, and it has proved to be. I never want to see him back here, Andy Carroll is a black mark on Newcastle United and a black mark on English football. I do not want to dive into your post mayhem tbh. So much strange shit that might scar me for life. So i believe you But fair play to you sir, stick to your guns. I could just not remember anyone really hating him while he was here.
  15. Gupter really dislike Carroll. Was it the same when he was here, or after he went to Liverpool?
  16. Its not the ability people are talking about mate, its the type of player. Carroll can not play out wide, Moses can. Assuming we want a 433/4231 next season.
  17. I have been thinking about this the last few days, and i am torn tbh. Carroll was fantastic for us when he was here, young English striker, tearing defenders apart. He looked like he had evolved into a good all round striker. Beast in the air, showed signed of a decent technique, good shooting. I was trilled to have him here, a homegrown potentially star striker on our books. Then he was sold, i was crushed tbh. Now, lets say he is available for £15m. Its a fair price for him tbh, and i still think he is a very good player. My problem with this is that we are not the same team as we was 18 months ago. We seems, at least from our resent buys that we want a 433/4231 formation. Or at least i dear hope its the path we are taking. And frankly i have problems to fit Carroll in at the moment. We have Cisse, who have been absolutely awesome for us. Then we have Ba, who have done well both centrally and out wide, but he wants a more central role. So, in our position, without knowing what Pardew thinks, and how he wants us to play, is £15m for Carroll well invested money? I think the timing is off, right player at the wrong time. Would we be better off with a player similar to HBA? I think so. A wide striker/winger, who could go in to play instead of Ba, if Cisse is out, Ba could play in the center. It would fit our squad much better, and give us more options. I am a little confused, we seem to buy players for a 433/4231 formation, but deep down i know Pardew likes his 442. I love how we are doing and Pardew as our manager. But i can not get my head around what the "final plan" is for our way of football. Either way, i just have to trust Pardew and the board to do the right thing. And just the thought of us buying a player for that kind of money was really unthinkable a few years ago. It is good times to support this club, and it has been a long time coming. Howay
  18. That is amazing, and scary at the same time.
