  1. Played better when we conceded 6. Strange sport, this.
  2. Quite embarrassing we're winning. Turgid bar 1 good move.

Class what's going on here. Shame to still see a lot of people (not on here) suggesting it's pointless because Ashley's still in charge. As though recognising Ashley is the longer-term issue means there's no point trying to get rid of an offensive fraud of a manager in Pardew.
  4. Don't mean as in it'd be embarrassing if we lose or owt, Wolfsburg will almost certainly cause us a lot of problems. Just that we've gone nearly full strength, but it's good to see us taking it seriously. Expecting an open game, plenty of players on both sides who should be able to cause damage. Our "solid" defence will likely once again look less than brilliant.
  5. Howard, Coleman, Baines, Stones, Jagielka, McCarthy, Barry, Mirallas, McGeady, Naismith, Lukaku. Not much messing around. Egg on our face if we lose, mind.
  6. Ultra-Giggs or not, still brought a chuckle. http://static.guim.co.uk/sys-images/Guardian/Pix/pictures/2014/9/14/1410698279322/98f3f49d-2d48-4757-8c86-4dab6b3f5b6e-620x498.jpeg
  7. The impression I get is a lot of footballers do a lot of things for charity which don't get reported. Doesn't justify the disgusting wages they get but there are probably more decent people than cunts.
  8. Looks like its catching national coverage. Keep it going.

    Just not convinced.
  10. Of course. But, naturally, combined with giving the impression to the masses that something is being done.
  11. He inhaled a dangerous quantity of drugs before the Chelsea game.
  12. Shut up That's pretty fucking funny, mind.

    Lockwood Cup

Might be me but given the cup is a celebration I don't think it'd be right Yeah, it's a tricky one. Think the whole day, especially the Cup, should be more a celebration of Jon but of course all of this has come about from a tragedy. I certainly wouldn't say no to a minute's silence, but I definitely think the day itself should generally be as upbeat as possible - like Cajun. Would be good to have some thoughts on this. How about we ask the family and let them decide?
