Hope mine goes better than the 2010 and 2012. Neither were a disaster by any means but given I thought I'd put a lot of research into it and finding some good value bets, I got bugger all reward for it. That's how it goes sometimes I guess. Hope a few things come to fruition here.

I'll get round to summarising some of the main WC offers available. Seems to be some good ones out there. Particularly interested in knowing exactly how the Argies will line up. A dark horse long shot would surely be Dzeko to net a few goals if he gets plenty of game time.

Enhanced odds, somewhere? Great value if not. Might jinx follow you on it. Nope. I put it on ages ago thinking it would shorten, but think I checked a week or 2 ago and it's still 33s. Well worth a tenner IMO.

With that said: what's everyone got on ante-post? Haven't got a lot on myself, so far anyway. Got a bit on Spain, only other ante-post is Brazil/Messi top scorer double at 33/1.

I should have specifically highlighted their midfield, which was what I was getting at. A lack of sharpness and creativity IMO. I realise we're not much either obviously but for me they're nowt to be feared. We have a better midfield and should be looking to dictate the game. Not that I think we actually will, of course. Think Lugano is a liability, mind.

I know Uruguay got to the semis last time out but I think they rely massively on individual brilliance up front. The rest of their team is average, by decent WC standards.

He had the world at his feet with us and the first 2-3 years at Man Utd. He just hasn't pushed on as much as he should have, and I'd be very surprised if you disagree with that Froggy. That isn't to say he's not still a very, very good player and on his day exceptional, but those days aren't anywhere near as regular as they were.

Nothing wrong with Rooney? The fact he hasn't mustered a goal for us at a World Cup suggests there is. He's obviously not our biggest concern and he has to start. But there is clearly some sort of issue with him, which I hope he finally addresses this summer.
