They were so brilliantly bad tonight. Long may it continue. The Man Utd fan on my team at work is having a right old moan about things. I understand that things are all relative, but seeing them complain about 6th place and a Champions League last 16 defeat (they may well even get through the tie yet) as though it's the end of the world is hilarious. Hopefully their demise properly kicks up a notch so they really do have something to complain about.

3-0 up already, canny tip Hope people made money on this, made a pretty penny on the -1 and over 2.5 team goals. Just saw no way Luton wouldn't score a few.
-
Yeah, over 14.5 so need him to get 15. It's just as much currently for the vindication of going on about it as it is for the money. I'm confident he'd already be there if it wasn't for a series of annoying injuries keeping him out for a game or 2 at a time. Would love him just to smash a team and get a hatrick.

As I've said 100 times before, only injuries will stop him from getting it. He's already had plenty of niggly injuries this season yet he's still bang on target. His minutes per goal ratio is comfortably better than what we need it to be, which is the frustrating thing. As for tonight, Luton @ 1/2 seems very long. They're top of the Conference, smashing teams left right and centre, W12 D3 L0 at home. Wrexham are lower mid-table, and parted company with their manager yesterday. I've no idea why Luton aren't more like 1/4.

P.S. G-Bale, what a goal. 5 to go.

Napoli, Napoli, Napoli. Currently that team for me who always play well when I'm not watching them/don't have a bet on them. Would be interested to see their team first.

Pretty boring betting weekend for me, broke even roughly. That Remy goal saved my bacon a bit. Was really confident on Sheff Wed tonight until I realised Charlton beat QPR on Saturday. Cool story, I know.

Hey, I'm Neil. Nice to meet you.

On one hand, we've played all the teams above us away from home now and we also have a game in hand. On the other, I've been telling anyone who would listen that I can count on one hand the number of times we've played well in the past 2-3 months. While the last 3 away games (Liverpool, Spurs (really don't think they're very good so that was particularly galling) and Chelsea) have firmly ended any hopes of properly getting anywhere this season, the problems were there beforehand. Injuries are a factor but that's not the reason. Ultimately we've become predictable recently, not pushed on in the transfer window - yet again - and now are settled with scraping around for an EL place. Good-o!

Seems so. It's almost like I've read the same story 100 times before.

I'd even say kudos to Mourinho tbh. He knew our plan was to keep possession as much as possible and that it'd be a tight game. Must've told them to bide their time and gradually go for it more and more as the 2nd half went on. They were relentless in the last 10-15 mins and that comes from the manager.
-
Some of our passes in the 2nd half were fucking criminal. Barkley in particular had an absolute nightmare. Can call it unlucky, undeserved all you want but ultimately they put more pressure on us, created more chances, and all the nice passing and the great work rate in the world won't match up to teams with actual quality. Which is annoying, as we do have quality, yet seemed afraid to do anything with it in the 2nd half. It wasn't a terrible performance, far from it. But it just wasn't good enough and that just about sums this club up - coincidentally a direct contradiction of our club motto.
-
"Cruel on Everton" "Didn't deserve that" "Soft free kick" "They put up a really good fight" Heard it all before. Rinse and repeat. Every single fucking time.
-
He'll have to learn to shoot first, mind.

That's Chapter 9 in Vol. 4 of Scrappy 1-0 Wins.

Too dazzled by Hibbert's tekkers to play.
-
Yeah he has. Could be a spot of burnout.
-
Probably. We simply lack a goalscorer. We bought one, then he got injured. We loaned one, then he got injured. We loaned another, then.... And now we're playing Steven Naismith.
-
This is really good play, but I doubt we'll get a goal to show for this. Then they will.
-
Expect us to play alright before ultimately getting beat.
-
It wouldn't make a difference, the games on Sunday. Stifler's caught you right out there I'm afraid.

I'm sure that made sense like, I might be wrong. I probably am wrong. What?
