  2. Wouldn't be surprised if yous finish above us at this rate.
  3. Wouldn't touch us with a barge pole at 1/2.
  4. South America is probably now my favourite betting location. Made a load in the past few weeks from either a) lack of bookies knowledge and/or b) sheer stupidity on their part. 7 of Colo Colo's (presumably named after Fabricio) 8 league games this season have had both teams scoring. All their home games have seen it happen, in fact they're a fucking class team to watch, 34 goals in their first 8 games. F24 A10 I think. Anyway, latest game tonight, BTTS will be 4/9, 1/2 or so won't it? Evens. lol wat 1-1 after 24 minutes. In the immortal words of T-Money... MONEY!
  5. Aaaand the games go dead once I post about them in here. This place is fucking cursed, I'm sure of it.
  6. Current bets: Dijon v Creteil - BTTS - won Dijon v Cretel over 2.5 - won Dijon over 1.5 team goals - pending (covered a little on under 1.5 team goals) Over 2.5 match goals treble in the Almere City, FC Oss and Helmond Sport games (HT: 0-2, 2-0, 1-0) However, bet365 picked a great time not to pay out quick on the first 2 bets. Those were done within 20 minutes, wanted to go on Bilbao over 1.5 team goals thinking they'd pay out quickly. I was wrong. Then Bilbao scored twice. Knobs. ======== FT: 3/3 bets came in on the Dijon game, 1 goal away in the O2.5 treble annoyingly. I'll certainly take that overall though. Bet365 STILL haven't paid out and if Hertha score before they do I'm gonna launch a takeover bid.
  7. Yeah, probably his cousin's wife's uncle's hamster that's passed away. Forgive me if I've missed a story of him lying about a bereavement in the past or something, but stuff like this amazes me. Did you not note the poster? I did, but even for someone as cynical as myself, I find it a whole new level.

x 100 I don't get the fuss about the guy. Sure he's improved, but I really don't rate him. Should be nowhere near a national team that wants to win the World Cup this year. Well, that's why he has a good chance of being in our squad.

I think there's some overrating going on with Henderson IMO. I think some might be mistaking his clear improvement as him being actual quality. He still doesn't contribute anywhere near enough to be considered an excellent player but fair play to him, he's really improved in the past year and currently deserves to be going to Brazil. That, and also I've a bet on him making the squad.
  11. You know your luck is in when a 12/1 draw double comes in and there are only 2 draws in the 6pm games.
  12. Leffe, your lot have looked terrible so far. Dont get it, wheres the urgency?
  13. Real doing the business tonight for me and I assume others. Main one I had was Real to win and over 3.5 match goals @ 5/2. Got on Ronaldo anytime at HT, he was bound to have his say. Combined with a variety of smaller bets, turned over about £130 profit tonight. Dreaded Europa League. My advice, if it's worth anything, is once again don't bet big, and remember to check team news. My thinking is that since it's the 2nd leg - i.e. the decisive leg - you might see teams go for it a bit more. But equally it's no reason to throw away money, there's some stinking value about.

I do agree they tend to have a partnership with Hartley's, but they've got plenty of recent previous of beating Man City, albeit at home. Can get 33/1 on Sunderland 1-0.

Best price 10/1 to win in 90 minutes. Best price 9/2 to lift the trophy.
  17. This is a myth that likes to be peddled, the notion that we played shite football. We used to, but 06/07 onwards we played some very good stuff, but equally could play long too. We had a very good mix. I think everything boils down to the fact that while Moyes did a very, very good job with us - and I'd never seek to deny that - he never won anything. That's a problem when you go to a team which has won things constantly for many, many years and is used to winning. While you'd expect there to be a transition and them perhaps not to be seriously in the title race this season - I imagine most fans would accept that - the amount he's taken them backwards is absurd. He hasn't got a winning mentality and that is proving a serious problem. This is the man who described going to places like Stamford Bridge and Old Trafford as "taking a knife to a gun fight" and "you just hope to get out of alive." The second major mistake he has made IMO (general on-pitch questions aside) is getting rid of Fergie's backroom staff. Really don't think that was a wise move in the slightest.

    La Liga 14/15

Potentially stupid question but what are Barca fans bothered more about this season VI - CL or La Liga? Does beating Real Madrid come before absolutely anything else?

    Sunderland

Because if Newcastle got to a final then the fans and City would not look forward to the day and/or enjoy it? I don't understand how this is a small club mentality? Also we have a 40k plus average for league games? I agree some of the cup attendances have been shite but still... Hey, you've fluked your way to a cup final, good luck, enjoy it. They've thoroughly earned their place in the final. Assume this has already been covered but to suggest it's a fluke is laughable.
  20. They were so brilliantly bad tonight. Long may it continue. The Man Utd fan on my team at work is having a right old moan about things. I understand that things are all relative, but seeing them complain about 6th place and a Champions League last 16 defeat (they may well even get through the tie yet) as though it's the end of the world is hilarious. Hopefully their demise properly kicks up a notch so they really do have something to complain about.
  21. 3-0 up already, canny tip Hope people made money on this, made a pretty penny on the -1 and over 2.5 team goals. Just saw no way Luton wouldn't score a few.
  22. Yeah, over 14.5 so need him to get 15. It's just as much currently for the vindication of going on about it as it is for the money. I'm confident he'd already be there if it wasn't for a series of annoying injuries keeping him out for a game or 2 at a time. Would love him just to smash a team and get a hatrick.
  23. As I've said 100 times before, only injuries will stop him from getting it. He's already had plenty of niggly injuries this season yet he's still bang on target. His minutes per goal ratio is comfortably better than what we need it to be, which is the frustrating thing. As for tonight, Luton @ 1/2 seems very long. They're top of the Conference, smashing teams left right and centre, W12 D3 L0 at home. Wrexham are lower mid-table, and parted company with their manager yesterday. I've no idea why Luton aren't more like 1/4.
  24. P.S. G-Bale, what a goal. 5 to go.
