  1. Cardiff pissing on a lot of bets.
  2. I accept things could be going better currently.
  3. Yeah, couldn't resist a stonking £2 double myself.
  4. Watford look great value. Am I missing something - why is Isco 9/2 to score anytime tonight? Seems a big price. Got that in a double with Celtic -1. Small singles on Porto to win 2-1 and Arsenal-Bayern 1-1. And a trixie of Palace +1.5 goals, Porto-Malaga BTTS and Cardiff DNB.
  5. I guess they're hoping Walcott can get in a race against Van Buyten but I reckon Bayern will be smarter than to let that happen.
  6. I agree at under evens they're poor value. Fancy a 1-1 myself.
  7. ....or you're not learning your lesson and you're betting against a team you don't like? Time will tell.
  8. After a great few days a couple of weeks ago where I was a fair bit up, I've been pretty much breaking even since and thus staying at that level. Winning a bet, losing a couple, winning a bet, losing a couple. Done the cautious thing and withdrawn about half of what was in my betting accounts, still left plenty to play with though. It's odd, I know that when I win I should be more aggressive with my stakes and thus trying to win more because it wasn't my money originally. Yet I seem to become more protective of my winnings. Mind, I'm learning not to fritter away winnings on daft bets. It's happened a few times in the past, win a bet then piss away over half of it on unlikely bets. As for tonight, I think I'll leave Arsenal-Bayern alone. Bayern are in imperious form but Arsenal, on their day, can beat anyone, as they showed when beating Barcelona 2-1. Might plump for the Forest/Palace double.
  9. I should probably look at which thread I'm posting in first.
  10. And just like that, game over. They're great to watch when they show some urgency, shame they're flat for such long periods.
  11. Finally some urgency from Man Utd and sure enough they score.
  12. Man Utd looking lifeless again. Reading easily had the better of this half, if they can show some composure when it gets to the final third they can beat them here. But they won't and Man Utd will do a "professional job" (code for "playing shit but getting through") and win 1-0/2-0.
  13. Man Utd are here for the taking. First 5 minutes aside they've been turd.
  14. 12. I know your bullshit, Brendan.
  15. No free bet for me, fuck you Paddy, fuck you.
  16. Could barely have had a better draw. Ours to fuck up, at least until the last 4.
  17. No luck in the 3pms yesterday but just to prove betting is all about carefully selecting your bets, I'm up for the weekend due to a random hunch: Obita FGS yesterday and also 2-2 in our game. Shame I didn't have it as a scorecast. Fancy Valladolid DNB.
  18. I have no qualms about Oldham deserving a result yesterday, but some of the commentary, Christ. "Well it's probably offside, but that's the magic of the cup." "There's all sorts of pushing and shoving going on in there and I'm surprised there's no whistle, but Oldham deserve that." Oh, right, well, that's fine then isn't it?
  19. Mainz DNB Hamburg DNB ------- BTTS in: Brum v Watford Forest v Bolton Pompey v Carlisle
  20. You'll do well to win that one Zach.
  21. Should have seen me last night, i slept in this very chair until 5am so i didn't have to venture into the bedroom, where i knew she lay in wait. Valentines and birthdays are the days that give me nightmares, just knowing she will be tackled up with her minge panting. Dear god !!!!.
  22. I'm not going to convince you otherwise, I just find it an utterly bamboozling strategy. Don't get me wrong, I know what you mean about a team being "due one", but that surely shouldn't be the way you look at it when it comes to betting. You're asking to lose money.
  23. Good odds? Bayern have conceded 1 goal in 10 away games (now 1 in 11). Wolfsburg have scored 9 home goals all season. Why on earth would you bet on Wolfsburg to score? Sorry Dinho, I just don't get it. Bayern to win to nil was 5/4 tonight. 5/4. They'd conceded 1 in 10. 5/4. 1 in 10. 5/4. Now that's value.
  24. I don't seem to have got my free bet for signing up, mind.
  25. So, anyone fancy any shocks this weekend? If so, get yourself to Coral immediately: http://sports.coral.co.uk/football/england/fa-cup Take note of the odds for the outright win for Oldham, Brentford, Leeds and Reading. Then, click on the Draw No Bet tab. Someone's getting fired. Either that or it's an unbelievably bold strategy to tempt punters in. If you can't be arsed to look, they've set some of the DNB prices higher than the outright win. Oldham to win 8/1, DNB 9/1.
