Pleased that De Gea is getting some good press for once. Been disproportionately criticised for some mistakes at Man Utd thus far. He's a good keeper and is going to become one of the best in Europe IMO. But who cares about that, let's slag off his entire goalkeeping ability because he happened to make a few individual mistakes. He's only 22, and I think has shown improvements since last season. He's going to be very, very good.

Pretty boring 2nd half IMO, given the talent on the pitch. Real were scared of conceding again (they should have, when do you see RVP miskick from 12 yards out?) and Man Utd I thought did a very good job of keeping it solid. Thought Madrid suffered due to a lack of a proper striker on the pitch. Neither Benzema or Higuain did much and it felt like Ronaldo was trying to be both the creator and finisher. It works at Barca because of how insanely in sync the players are with each other, but that doesn't apply to the same degree with RM. Thus it all got a bit desperate and forced and frankly I thought Man Utd were relatively comfortable.

Didn't have much joy with the bet365 offer, ended a whopping £1.25 up there. Had a bit of success with Ronaldo anytime and also BTTS in both CL games. Also had a £25 free bet on RVP to score anytime - seriously, when do none of those chances go in the net for him?

However the bottom line is Celtic are simply not good enough for this stage. Juve hammered home the advantage when it mattered, Celtic did not.

I'm not sure I actually want to bet on Real-Man Utd. I think I'd just like to watch what should be a great game, without the pressure of wanting some event to occur.
