  1. Southampton look comfortable.
  2. One of those where you thought he'd miss. Silva's had a shite start to this game.
  3. Wigan have improved immeasurably since Kone and Gomez came on. Chelsea for 80 minutes haven't looked that impressive at all.
  4. Is Cech trying to give Wigan a chance here?
  5. Silva to score and Man City to win is 3/1 on Paddy Power.
  6. Have Chelsea, Man City -1, Bordeaux DNB. Have a 4 fold from yesterday which has one team to go - from Guatemala, obviously. Got trebles as well though so at least in profit for that.
  7. After the first 10 admittedly disastrous minutes, Wigan have been the better side. Chelsea don't look fussed about keeping any sort of high tempo.
  8. That'll be because he's my fantasy league captain. I know, you'd have to be a right dickhead to have Torres as captain.
  9. Torres has been exceedingly bad.
  10. Decent response from Wigan but it's akin to changing a sock after shooting yourself in the foot.
  11. He's one of those names where you think "yeah he's comically bad", but he's not actually a bad player.

    Other clubs' transfers

6/1 on Paddy Power t'other day.
  13. Shaun Maloney in the Lavezzi role.
  14. No, Jamie, it's not like Liverpool going to West Brom, because Liverpool are shit.

Johnson would be a very good signing, I'd love him at Everton. Perhaps a few question marks over his attitude but desperately needs regular football.
  16. Think this'll be pretty close.
  17. Proper teams to bet on. Waiting on a Guatemalan team later for £80.
  18. Meant the 2nd half. Unlucky how they weren't ahead in the 1st half but after that their responses to the goals were fairly pitiful. Certainly not that of a side who are going for the top 4.
  19. Was watching his post-match interview and he seemed to be saying they played well in the 2nd half. Apart from the goal which was given to them on a plate, did they actually have any sort of actual chance? Can't remember Krul having anything else to do, at all.
  20. Fwiw think this is pretty much bang on, maybe a 7 for Ba for the excellent goal. Thought Cisse looked way off the pace (Ramadan?) and the central midfielders likewise. Neither team played particularly well but you won due to 2 moments of incisiveness - Ba's clinical finish and Ben Arfa's dart through the gap - and that's all that matters. AVB is deluding himself if he genuinely thought Spurs played well in the 2nd half, they were awful. Credit needs to go to a Coloccini-deprived defence as well. Taylor probably deserves a 10 for his crafty backpass to Krul.
