Players bottled it. They've been naive from back to front.

Are you going to throw Bigi in do you reckon? I have to say I thought him and Anita were your best players yesterday. He obviously has a lot of developing to do experience-wise but early signs are good with him considering he's what, 18, and was playing for Coventry? Great deal of maturity.
-
Well I was going to say, if it's fitness then it's seriously unprofessional. But not sure how he could be unhappy. Maybe he thinks his place is untouchable?
-
Is it simply an issue of fitness for Cabaye recently? And Cisse for that matter. On form they'll win the game for you.

These are the types of games that Tiote thrives in, and his passing only appears to be crap because often at times at home he's the one taking responsibility and trying to make things happen when others around him aren't doing anything, which we all know isn't his game. Away games when we're under more pressure, when we're trying to get a result is when he shines, winning the ball back, keeping possession ticking over. So you're totally wrong tbh. If I were you I'd hope he's out injured. Was the game two years ago Tiote's first start for us? I remember him being absolutely fantastic in that game, and I have no doubt that he will be if he's fully fit for this one too. He impressed me a lot too in that game but whenever I've seen him recently he's looked half the player. But there you go. I'd rather he was out injured - as I've just said he's a good player. But not as good as is made out. Regardless, I'll trust your view. He could turn up and run the game and I'll be left with egg on my face.

Pessimism all-round. Well, I'm optimistic about this season. Just trying to balance some of the comments whereby you'd think this game was a write-off for you.

Both sides go into the 2 week break on the back of a disappointing result, so that could somewhat level any perceived difference. If I were Moyes, I'd be telling Fellaini to get very close to Tiote and pressure him. Thought for a long time Tiote is overrated and his passing is generally crap. A good player yes but not as good as made out in the media. I'd also be wanting Baines and Pienaar to give Simpson the run around though that might be different if Anita plays there. Interesting where Ben Arfa plays too. Although we've got a reputation for being solid defensively, you might notice our 3 goals conceded so far have all been really soft. The first was a goalkeeping error, and the 2 vs West Brom were disturbingly easy for them. I'd expect you to play better than you have done so far, and from our side if we repeat our WBA performance I'd not be confident of winning.

Thought Anita, Bigirimana and Coloccini were your best players today. Your performance generally reminded me of us and how we play at the start of the season most years. Floating along, then suddenly realise "shit, we're getting beat by a team we should be beating", get an equaliser (insanely good goal), then end up drawing, thus dropping 2 points.

Think Real are going to win big tonight. I think Mourinho will barely accept a scrappy single goal win, let alone not winning.
-
Bayern casually scoring 6 goals between the 32nd and 51st minute today.
-
Newcastle, Man Utd, Marseille DNB.
-
I know Liverpool are shit currently but they're not in League One quite just yet.
-
No doubting that you should win, but just have a feeling Villa, for lack of a better phrase, can't get any worse. Single goal win to you. 2-1.
-
Yep. I don't think it's unfair to suggest they're not going to get anywhere nearer the top 2 this year, and will have a fight on their hands to finish 4th as they'll drop a lot of points against teams they should beat. Still, a very good win today against an awful Liverpool side.

Great first 2 weeks, abysmal GW this weekend as expected. Lack of players, and only Toure and Tevez have done anything. Will be lucky to get more than 35. For the 2nd time in a week, my captain was on the bench, came on and did nothing, and my vice captain did plenty.

Starting to love Reina.

Why don't we have that spray thing they have in South America for free kicks? Arsenal wall was at most 8 yards away, then encroached further.
-
They seem to have an in-built mentality of being up for the "big" games. Rarely found wanting on such occasions, unfortunately.
-
No real complaints about yesterday fwiw, goes to show we're not going to be able to play OK-ish and go round winning away from home. Appreciate having a manager like Moyes who doesn't speak the language of bullshit. No excuses.

Had a great first 2 GWs but this weekend will be tough. Only 9 players playing.
