People enjoy watching twats fail? I don't understand that holding in the context of it being your own country. You do realise many English people hate England as a country? I'm very aware of it, yes.

Not sure what Ali will make of this.
  4. Last round of games have generally been shite. Was going a bit too well during the 2nd round of games tbf, plenty of points every night. But finding it hard to name anything over the past few days. A couple of clean sheets, couple of assists, that's about it. Anyway, shit's starting to get serious.
  5. I surely can not be top after tonight. I had Ribery as captain ffs.

It's ok mate, England will be out before long and you can sleep easy knowing we haven't won. England were poor and Ukraine deserved something from the game = I hate England? I admit I deeply dislike some of the England squad, but I'm generally indifferent towards their overall progress. I've seen absolutely nothing to suggest they can overturn Italy, fair play if they somehow manage it. Your comments generally suggest you revel in criticising England and can't wait to knock them down - anything but indifferent. I get that people think there are twats in the England squads, I agree with that. What I don't get is why so many people seemingly take pleasure in seeing us fail, which is different to not really caring.

7 points out of 9, very well done to all concerned. However tonight was easily our worst performance so far. Ukraine must have been ridiculously encouraged by how much we dropped off and almost willed them onto us - they can count themselves unlucky for losing the game. As far as we're concerned though, we have every chance against Italy.

Why don't you fuck off and support Spain then. Aye, that's right. We'll do Spain no fucking bother. TIKI TAKA IS DEAD. Ukraine first though, easy as piss. haha rebrovs shit

96 version is better. It is. Sheer laziness on my part. WE'RE ON THE BALL

Jesus Christ, we might as well have just thrown all the group games then. Typical England man, get out of the group stages (usually on the last game of the group stages) then just as everyone thinks maybe they can do actually do it and they get a biggish name they bottle it and go out. Brazil, Portugal, Portugal again, Germany, and now I would think Spain. Yep, it's preferable to go out in the groups. If we get out of the group then it's job done and we're into a knockout game where we'd likely be big underdogs but it's still the best we can do. Your outburst makes no sense. Indicative of some people generally; going to great lengths to shout from the rooftops about how we're no good, how we're going to get knocked out immediately and how everyone else is better. I get it, we're not that good but at the same time we have good players, we just need to click. Hopefully we'll get to the knockout stage and with some luck, do well in whatever match that is. Come on England. They need a wee bit more than that like. To do what? Win it? To win it we'll need our best performances in many years and more than likely large quantities of luck. It's not overly optimistic to say we'll get into the knockout stage and give a good showing in the QF.

  15. We all know where this is leading to. Fades to black at half time in their QF game. "Spain lose 4-0."
  16. This is what gets me. Everyone's slamming him for being pretentious/stupid/defensive/ridiculous - Fabregas and Navas won them the fucking game. But fuck that, they keep possession too well.
  17. A scintillating 17 points. Perhaps my Di Natale enthusiasm/undying love cost me.
  18. I like them, I would've found it funny if they went out last night but that's in a "wanting to see the underdog get through" kind of way. Can understand opinions saying they're boring. Think the criticism is over the top, though. Not like Arsenal, as an example, who are criticised for trying to overcomplicate it and end up not winning and losing regularly.
  19. Either would give us a good hiding. See, I don't think Spain would give us a hiding. It would be unwise to just forget the 1-0 win over them last year. The 1-0 win in a friendly, with a different manger in charge? Thought you'd say something like that. If we came up against Spain then no, I wouldn't expect us to beat them, of course not. But I don't think they'd give us a hiding, providing we were on our game. The win over them shows it's possible.

  21. I've been relatively impressed more by Portugal than Spain. I'd go as far as to say that judging on things so far, we'd be more likely to get beat by Portugal than Spain.
  22. Come on Casillas, blast it in your own net.
