If he can improve his defensive side in the next couple of years, Tottenham have a class player on their hands.

In no realm does Gerrard deserve to be ahead of Lampard. Gerrard has been on the slide down for a good couple of years and while Lampard isn't at the heights he once was, he still does the business on a regular basis.
