  1. Some odd music choices from whoever's in charge at Wembley - players coming out to Justice, and lifting the Cup to the tune of Weezer.
  2. Well there yer gan. Certainly looks like that record is going to be changing this year. Extremely odd season, though I guess exciting for the neutral.
  3. Nut: I'm not sure, but a decent guess IMO would be Southampton's tally of 32 points in 04/05 - when all of the bottom 4 could have survived on the last day.
  4. Mark Bright, please stop laughing. Please stop just being there.
  5. Remember, in Mark Bright, we are dealing with a man here who said: "If Everton finish in a Champions League place, they'll play in the Champions League."
  6. Oh, wow, it was Clattenburg in the Man Utd game. Shock.
  7. The sad thing from their perspective is they'll probably beat Sunderland 3-0/4-1 or something next week and they'll pretend everything's OK again. It is truly baffling how a manager of Wenger's aptitude has done so little to address such glaring weaknesses. How many times is he going to let them fuck up before he actually does something about it?
  8. You lot go to the San Paolo in the penultimate week don't you?
  9. I want some of whatever you're on.
  10. I seem to remember Ipswich playing Inter too. 3-0/4-0 iirc, Vieri scored?
  11. Inter need someone like Muntari here to help them see the game out.
  12. For most of this game and indeed a lot of the time I watch Inter, there's just a distinct lack of movement, speed and cohesion apart from the odd game, or the odd move here and there. Regardless of whether that's symptomatic of Italian football generally, that's a bit worrying for a team who are supposed to be one of the best in the league. Still, as you say, Leo's not had much time there at all. It also helps when there are players of Sneijder's quality who can stick in a free kick to win a game.
  13. Yep, Del Neri went to Juve too. Of course. Still, it's quite the drop from last year. Do you reckon they're in serious danger of getting sucked into a relegation fight or will they come good, relatively, and finish 8th/9th?
  14. 1-0 Inter always looked likely considering how, for lack of a better word, shit the game's been for the most part. Why have Samp struggled so badly this year? Is it just down to the loss of Pazz and Cass?
  15. The ex-Boro star should've put Samp ahead.
  16. A shot at goal! Progress for Inter.
  17. Post comes to Inter's rescue.
